I would say that the campus being standard, is a bit small and the campus is split into two. One the administrative block and another golden jubliee block. But overall the college has good infrastructure

KCET was the entrance exam i had to write to get admission in this college. The NIE being a top college in karnataka,is located in mysuru which is a good place to spend the next 4 years if you want to do engineering. I had to study hard to get good kcet ranking and hence i came to NIE, my rank 2343. There was no interview process as we had earned our place in NIE through kcet. The course that i'm currently studying is BE in EC, and the reason i took this course is Engineering is my passion

As I am just a rookie, 1st-year student, I can't provide many details about the course that I choose as all students in 1st year will have same topic, but it is good, if you are a smartworker

Sorry but i don't know anything about this as i'm a 1st year student. But i think our college will provide interships as i saw something on the notice board pertaining to internships

To be frank i don't know much about placement in NIE,but we do have a seperate office of placements and all core and dream companies will come to NIE

There are a lot of student organizations like IEEE,Onyx and Roboticcs and they will conduct a lot of event Apart from this the college has a event named tecknieks

Yup, i found i affordable as i got admission in NIE aided apart from this you can get seay through SNQ,and in unaided college but the fees will varry SNQ-Around 4k per year Aided-Around 19k per year Unaided-Around 50k per year And extra 16k per year for all three above

Nope, m not residing in hostel. The hostel rooms are good.The rooms are sharing There are a lot of PGs nearby the college I live in a PG named spandana pg and i pay 70k per year. The food is better compared to other PGs except Udupi PG which is good

No, to be frank i love going to the lab as we have only two labs in a week for our first sem(p cycle). Three hours of labs and thats all, the we will be free and won't be tired at all

The faculty has some good staff with experience here and there, and a bunch of new teacher who did there masters in IITs. Over the staff will help you with your studies
