Remarks

Overall experience in this college is amazing. The environment is top notch. There is also good coding culture in this college which is very benefitial to students of all branches too. There are many technical and cultural clubs which increases exposure of a student to the outer world and also gives a student hands on experience in different fields.

Entrance Preview

Admission to this college is through the basis of manipal exam mutjee. One has to score more than the minimum cutoff score in order to get admission into this college. No there was no interview to enter into this college, admission is taken into this college purely on the basis of mutjee score.I have a special interest towards both computer science and electronics field which made me choose my present field.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course I chose,CCE was very top notch. It gives you experience and exposure to both CSE AND ECE field of engineering. It give a student an advantage to develop an interest in any of the two streams, which in turn will benefit in future massively as you do the work in which you have interest. This colleges focuses into practical learning massively.yes, there elective options available once a student enters into his third year of engineering.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college provide an internship at Arcelor Mittal in Kazakhstan at the end of third year, but there is a condition to it that you need to secure a minimum cgpa of 7.5 in order to get that internship.I am currently a second year student,so I did not get an opportunity to get the internship and thus have no idea ab out the monthly stipend.

Placement Experience

3

The placement scenario is quite good. There is a minimum requirement for sitting in placements is around 6 cgpa. The average placement package is also quite decent around 6lpa which can be considered quite good considering the age of this institute .Many major companies like Microsoft,Amazon,Samsung etc come in the college for in campus placement.

College Events

3

Many events take place in the college.Three big fests namely Plinth,Vivacity and Desportivos are held in the fest month of January.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of this college is not upto the mark. The fee can be considered to be a bit costly with respective to the facilities provided. The total fees is around 3 lakhs per year which includes tuition fees and accommodation(hostel and mess) fees. Moreover the tuition fee can be considered to be not worth the amount it is.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, this college provides scholarship to the students on the basis of cgpa a student gets in a semester.Yes there is a provision for loan to the low income students only.

Campus Life

3.5

Extracirrucular activities are very active in this college.A number of sports activities are being played in this college and there are various other clubs for such activities like singing, dancing, drama etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, I am residing in a hostel. The hostel rooms are quite good and are better than most of the other colleges in India.Yes there is a provision for both single and double rooms. The hostel and mess fees are inclusive in the college fees and is quite worth it. The food quality can be considered average and is better than most other colleges.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the platform for alumni interaction is very good in this college. There is a separate alumni club in this college which gives you ample chances to interact and learn from your alumni.

Exam Structure

Yes the frequency of labs and exams are quite high which makes a student quite tiresome at the end of the day.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty qualification in this college is very high.Almost everyone is a graduate from the esteemed universities of the world.Although some of the faculty members are inexperienced but most of them are a master in their profession.Almost everyone is very helpful and are willing to help you in need .Most of them interact with the students. The standard of teaching hence can be considered above average

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
