Likes

The vibe of the campus , the friendliness of staff.
The college canteen has cheap and tasty food.
The infrastructure of college is nice, and classrooms have plenty of natural air circulation.

Teaching is done with chalk and board, makes classroom dusty.
The place outside college has less restaurants
The vehicle parking has no roofing , vehicle stands under direct sunlight.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in AI and all that stuff during my 12th STD. Then later I got to know about this course, so joined for this. There are lots of faculty to teach us, every class has a separate class teacher and every 20 students have a mentor. Internals are easy here which can fetch u good marks.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided by Microsoft, Google, and various other companies in the second year by finalising based on cgpa. Mini projects and internship projects are done since 1st year to increase chances of placement.

Placement Experience

The student becomes eligible for placement from 7 semesters, internships are done by students from all semesters. Many companies like Amazon Google, Microsoft, TCS, Oracle, etc. The highest package is 25 lakhs and the average is 7lpa. 95% of the students get placed. Plans after completion of the course is to do a master's.

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees for my course are 1.15L per year and extra fees for the end sem exam. Our college has a separate cell for sc-st scholarships and obc scholarships. There is a cell called TYL, which helps in placements like they teach aptitude questions and all.

Campus Life

The annual fest's name is Cultura and it is conducted in June. The library has over 10000+ books from various authors and of various streams. a lot of student clubs are there for extracurricular and sports activities in the college and have also won many intercollege competitions.

Admission

I joined CMRIT through KCET with a rank of 23k. During the KCET consultation I had to pay 70k and in college, I paid 45k. The admission process was simple. The reason for less fees was due to my caste reservation.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
