- I liked the free time provided over here, there is no strict rule regarding seventy-five percent attendance and you can stay on your hostel and prepare for other things.
- The return on investment is very good over here. The placements provided in comparison to fee structure for four years is very good in my opinion.
- Some Seniors provide very good guidance if asked for and try their best to help their juniors regarding any matter.
Dislikes
- Smoking, drinking is common in the campus and there are no restrictions imposed on these matters by the administration.
- Ragging is a very common thing over here you have go through such a long way to go to class even if there is a short way due to seniors and you cannot go around in half pants or shirts or even chappal.
- Conflict between branches between seniors and juniors are very common here stoning is one of the major event ,which is known as fest of BIT.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty here is very hard working and doing their best to help students achieve their goals and improve college stats. The student ratio is pretty bad over here boys to girl ratio is 10:1. Every faculty member is highly qualified. There are two mid-semester held every semester and an end semester. Mid-semester is easy to pass but requires hard work to score good marks and the end semester is a bit tough for one night of study but can get you fetched good marks if studies continuously.
Internships Opportunities
Companies do not come to campus to provide internships, instead, you have to apply personally from LinkedIn or Internshala. No opportunity is available in college you have to work hard to get one. You can apply through portals such as Internshala or Corvette.
Placement Experience
The placements of core branches are very good over here special for metallurgical, mining, chemical, and mechanical branches. Most branches apply for off-campus placements at their dream companies. Some students use their free time to study for the gate for higher studies. From the seventh semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies such as tata steel, Vedanta,tcs ninja,hcl, and Samsung visit the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee structure for four years is two lakhs in general. The return on investment is very good if you study over here. There are lots of scholarship opportunities for everyone, and e-kalyan is availed to everyone with the required criteria. Ffe, reliance scholarship is provided based on examination. Lots of internship opportunities are provided by the tap cell of the bit Sindri.
Campus Life
For me college Life is good and the campus has a lush green campus. There is a bit of ragging done by the seniors and have some strict rules that must be followed in the first year to reduce the nuisance created by the first years. There are lots of different clubs over here and it is worth joining a club to improve your communication skills and soft skills.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel has very spacious rooms and five children/students have to stay in one room in the first year which reduces year by year to a single room per person. But the hostel is not maintained properly, the bathrooms are very dirty and washed once a week or sometimes a month. You will be provided with one table and a bed at first and only a few hostels have shelves.
Admission
The admission process is done through JCECEB (Jharkhand combined entrance competitive examination board) counseling based on jee main score. A separate merit list is prepared for the students who want to take part in counseling. The students having a home as Jharkhand are eligible for counseling.
