Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for Electrical Engineering, because I love this technology, and the facilities available for this course in this college are very good. The college hosts cultural and technical fests, Both are organised here, thereby allowing students to take part in extracurricular activities. Overall, I would like to say that this college is far better than other private colleges. Our teachers teaching quality is very good, So I recommend to all students to join our college. The curriculum is properly updated according to the needs of students, And professors make us job ready. Exams are taken very strictly.

Most of them are placed in IT companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. and the core companies also come in our campus like Vedanta, tata steel, reliance etc. The average package is around INR 7 to 8 Lacs per annum

Students are also placed in companies like Ericsson, Idea (soft companies), Allen, Narayana, Akash (coaching Institutes) etc came.

The Institute has over 1,00,000 text and reference books of various disciplines of science, engineering and technology. In addition, many departments such as metallurgy, chemical, production, etc. have their own departmental library.

Mess and Cooking arrangements are Hygienic, Variety of food is good, Quality and taste of food is acceptable. Infrastructure is average but our college renovation is going on campus and new buildings and hostel are also being constructed

BIT Sindri was established in 1949 and is approved by AICTE and UGC. The college is accredited by NBA. The college is ranked 251-300 for BTech by NIRF 2022. The college through its 15 departments, offers UG, PG, and PhD courses to students across Science and Engineering streams. B.E. / B.Tech eligibility is 10+2 and a minimum of 45% Exams JEECEJEE Main rank is required for admission.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Placement Experience:

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.

I could have gotten admitted in NIFFT Ranchi and by the 2k24 cut offs I could have gotten BIT mesra Chemical alonwith a plethora of colleges on AKTU or MPDTE counclling.I also qualifies CUET with a decent rank enough to secure a college in the DU south campus. The primary reason I chose this college was the Return on investment.Even withot any fees waiver the entire fee here is close to 4 lakhs for a span of 4 years which is very low compared to the average package of the college.Als the branch Mechanical has a decent scope in the GATE exams. First of all this college is only for the students of Jharkhand.If you wanna get admitted here and belong to the general category you need a percentile from 87 to 94.5.If you are from other categores the cutoff goes even lower.The admission process is quite simple.You fill a form which will ask you for a security deposit of 5000 on the jcece website.After this you will be eleigibke to do choice filling.You will be alloted a branch based of your rank and choice.Forgetting admission you will have to vsit the college annd submit all your documents.You can upgrade your branch in the later rounds.There are 3 rounds and 2 special rounds....Read More
