Likes

The campus is green and the environment within the campus is clean.
Senior Junior bond is highly prevalent here, with seniors being there to help out juniors in every possible way.
The Return on Investment is pretty good for a state govt college.

Dislikes

The campus and the hostel is not equipped with wifi facilities.
The Library closes at 5 PM making it unable for students to manage their timing.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was fascinated by the processes of how a machine works and the science behind it, this lead me to choose my path as an engineer and thus I selected this course. The faculty are good and have done their MTech and PhDs from reputed institutions.

Internships Opportunities

Amazon offered internships to a few students. The major internship is provided by Tata and Vedanta. On successful completion of the internship, a lot of students are offered PPO based on their report submission.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placement after completion of the 6th semester. During the final year, students sit for the placements. The placements are good for IT firms. On the Core placements, our institution is at par with NITs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very nominal considering a professional course, while the return on investment is high for this college. A student has to pay around 16000 college fees per year, even if we consider the complete course fee including hostel, mess, and all the extra charges, one could complete B.Tech. course here at an expenditure of less than 3 Lacs. While the average package offered during the placements is 7-8 LPA. The placement ratio is high too.

Campus Life

The annual Cultural Fest conducted is BITAANSH, artists like The Local Train and Asit Tripathi had attended and entertained the audience in the previous editions of the fest. The Tech fest is conducted namely Tech Mahotsav.

Hostel Facilities

In the first year the accommodation is provided for 4-5 students in a single room, the room is spacious enough so do not worry. The college will provide everyone with a bed, study table, and chair. Meal quality is good enough to kill your hunger, non-veg is provided 5 times a week. The hostel is affordable at 7000 per year and 2500 electricity bill.

Admission

Candidates have to clear the JEE Mains exams and apply for counseling through the JCECE portal. The reservation policy is followed as per government regulations. Although there is no female-specific reservation.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Beyond the Brochures: Fun Days at BIT

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

Students become eligible for internship after 4th semester , after 6th semester the companies start coming for regular placement For cse the average was around 20 lpa with median being 16-17 lpa Companies that generally visit are - atlassian, Amazon, flipkart , BNY Mellon, cisco, Texas Instruments etc Around 140 offers were made and in a batch of 120, 100 have secured placement Placement percentage is around 92% Highest package - 65 lpa atlassian (on campus) 1.23 cr rubrik (off campus) Lowest package - 7 lpa Average - 18 - 20 lpa

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Is Arka jain University right fit for you

Placement Experience:

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

A two years review of Central University of Jharkhand

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.

I could have gotten admitted in NIFFT Ranchi and by the 2k24 cut offs I could have gotten BIT mesra Chemical alonwith a plethora of colleges on AKTU or MPDTE counclling.I also qualifies CUET with a decent rank enough to secure a college in the DU south campus. The primary reason I chose this college was the Return on investment.Even withot any fees waiver the entire fee here is close to 4 lakhs for a span of 4 years which is very low compared to the average package of the college.Als the branch Mechanical has a decent scope in the GATE exams. First of all this college is only for the students of Jharkhand.If you wanna get admitted here and belong to the general category you need a percentile from 87 to 94.5.If you are from other categores the cutoff goes even lower.The admission process is quite simple.You fill a form which will ask you for a security deposit of 5000 on the jcece website.After this you will be eleigibke to do choice filling.You will be alloted a branch based of your rank and choice.Forgetting admission you will have to vsit the college annd submit all your documents.You can upgrade your branch in the later rounds.There are 3 rounds and 2 special rounds....Read More
