Remarks

I personally think it was my biggest mistake to take admission in this college I don’t think any of the things here are good Neither the academic nor the social life 4 years life was just pathetic

Entrance Preview

College conducts its own Exam,I wrote the exam held in somewhat June and it was 100 marks objective type question paper. I scored 4th rank. Yes with the name as SGPGIMS I was very much excited and came for the further proceedings. There was no interview held. I was asked to get medical checkup which took me 2 long days as the campus is too large and I had to walk here and there for getting my work done. That was also one of the worst experiences.I had chosen the course with a dedication to serve people and needy.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Well as far as I think the course I had chosen was good enough but college I had chosen was not that great. Practical knowledge I could have gained 100% as it has such a large hospital and so many patients to work upon but college faculty is simply pathetic.

Internships Opportunities

We did not get any stipend during internship though we made a call for it. Internship period is 6 months We did our internship with our own efforts, faculty showed no interest in making us learn something

Placement Experience

0.5

None of the students were placed in campus firstly. They don’t have scene like campus selection. No company or college visits here. All the students that pass out from here search their own jobs Just after the course we are getting 15 k for teaching in colleges.

College Events

1

A few programs were organised like TNAI SNA Nurses day etc etc Yes the fests that were organised by doctors were great but as usual nurses programmes were the worst.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Approx 60k is the fee 50k as education fee 10 k as caution money (to be refunded) 3k exam fee 6k hostel fee And they charge 1000 for library 3500 per month is the fee for mess

Fees and Financial Aid

Students below poverty line used to get scholarship. Education fee was refunded

Campus Life

5

Yes they used to organised a few functions just for the sake of doing things we used to take part just for fun sake It was all a waste

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel is good enough. Warden is simply a disgusting person. We got single room each and food is satisfactory.

Exam Structure

Only assignments they give will suck blood out of your body. Fully tiring 4 years.

Faculty

0.5

Faculty is simply pathetic Firstly they lack faculty secondly teachers are not even interested in teaching. Not well educated nor disciplined. Standards of teaching are simply below average. Management and administration is just waste. They don’t have a proper Principal even. Acting principal can’t even take decisions for herself what would she decide for students future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Job opportunities is so high after completion of the course. Curriculum strongly focuses on skill development of the students that will help them to achieve different milestones. There should be less no. of assignment in the curriculum and teaching method should be more interactive. There are 2 mid term exams and 1 semester exam in every 6 months. Exams are not that difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a medical course so yaa i wanted to learn about human so opted for it .It's alike MBBS but a bit easy than that .we have subject specialities like Medical surgical ,Obs gynae,Pediatrics ,Community etc like mbbs only but we need to learn them in duration of 3.5 yrs then we have internship of 6 months. Curriculum is maintained but need to be more realistic as some things are outdated. The subjects we learn are patient centred only as we have to be there for them ,provide care to them and treat them .everthing we read in classes we apply and co relate in our clinical.postings for better learning and experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing this course was my own decision but after joining it helped me to indulge more in it. It prepares us to face many major and minor critical conditions regarding human beings. Teaching method is usually based on faculty we get. But ours is the best and they examine us in every one month on the basis of some lengthy exams and some shorts exminations.
