Lectures in NIE are cool and at the same time strict.
We get chances to enroll in lot of clubs.
We will be getting the all job opportunities to our mail.

Dislikes

Food in hostel is not that good, but quantity is good.
The campus is located away from city 14kms.

Course Curriculum Overview

Nice faculty, good teaching, All are experts in their fields. All are so much supportive. Exams are comparatively easier than in other colleges, easy to score good grades in the first year for sure. One exam per 1.5 months approx.

Internships Opportunities

All kinds of internships are available. Even for first years students. They send us through the mail. We can get into juniper networks in 20lacs Or Visa in 60lacs. The lectures provide good opportunities for doing projects under their guidance.

Placement Experience

No worries about placements for tech/it branches, they'll get placed in a mass recruiting company even if don't have good knowledge about it. My plan is to work hard and get a job in mnc like Google, Microsoft, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good compared to other colleges, with no extra fees after admission. Lowest and best hostel fees for North campus students. Many numbers of scholarships are provided by the scholarship section. And you don't have to worry about the placements if you are in tech branches.

Campus Life

TECHNIEKS is the name of the annual fest. All types of books are available in the libraries. No text is needed to purchase separately. All classrooms are provided with projectors for digital teaching. All types of sports are there in the college.

Hostel Facilities

Best hostel rooms in the north hostel. All newly built buildings. Just far away from the city by 14kms. Food is not that good, but it is enough to survive, the quantity of food is good. All kinds of luxury in hostels, room service, washing machines everything.

Hostel Fee: INR 107000 per year

Admission

The admission process was smooth enough, I got this course by kcet, with a general merit seat without any reservation, the suggestion I have is to make the selection process quicker. For us, it took more than 4 months.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
