In this college, the course is very popular in our district. In our college nearly 10 faculty have a student capacity of 50, the mean ratio of faculty and student is 1:5. There is many faculty with qualification for P. H. D and the other is M. SC. There are two terms of exam in one year. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

There is a lot of company provided internship opportunity, like ABC Academy. Many projects are provided and their outcomes are really impressive. Daily uses of science was one of the projects whose outcome shocked us. Nearly all thing outside is related to science.

Placement Experience

No campus placement is offered. After our course, we will be able or different international competitive exams like iit jam, jest, tifr, iacs and others. In the case of the government job exam, we will be nearly prepared through our course. The syllabus is based on different competitive exam syllabus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the course are moderate. The cost of study is affordable for all types of students. The college provided many types of scholarships like Swami Vivekanand scholarship, inspire scholarship, etc. The job on campus is not applicable.

Campus Life

An annual fest like independent day, Birthy of Rabindranath Thakur, Birhty of Swami Vivekanand, and other social festivals are conducted annually. Nearly all types of books and journals are available in our library. Amenities in the classroom are available. Different type of sports and extracurricular activity on campus is conducted. Social Facebook groups and WhatsApp group has for students. A sports club is situated on the college campus.

Admission

We have to get good marks in HS. I find the application on the official website of the college. Yes, the reservation benefit is very excellent. This is very help full for students. No, the admission process is very excellent.

Placement Experience:

College does provide internship opportunities both through the placement cell as well as department faculty. Semester 5 and Semester 7 students are eligible for placements. Average package is about 5.5 lakh per annum for microbiology course. Although placement percentage is on the lower side majority of students go for higher studies. Many prepare for exams like GATE, IIT JAM, etc.

Placement Experience:

college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course theory helps us gain a solid understanding of the subject matter. Film studies and Mass Communication theory classes has laid down the foundation of the subject- from what is a shot and the kinds of shots and angles, to the beginning of radio in India and essays by CS Pierce and John Berger. The course also includes practical classes in the sound labs, editing labs and we will learn to use a camera, as one of the things we will have to do in this course is make films of our own.

Our college has a very active placement cell that fetches jobs for everyone who needs and deserve it. The highest package was 24 lacs per annum last year and it is only expected to go up this round almost all students to set for placements are placed but in my department specifically most opt for higher studies like myself.

The college offers good placements for economis. Students in their final year are eligible for campus placements and there is a cell dedicated to placements. We have a placement cell helping students get placed. They keep posting opportunities like internships and fellowships throughout the year to groom students and give them exposure and experience. Placements can go to very high packages like those in Data Science, Big 4 consulting or core finance or banking jobs. CAs, CFAs and FRMs do well in the placements. The highest packages could surpass 12-13 LPA and median packages are close to 6-7 LPA. DE Shaw, Zomato, Myntra, Meesho, TCS and McKinsey are some top companies coming here.
