Internships Opportunities
Placecom provides good internship opportunities with an average salary above 1 lakh per month. Students need to update their resumes accordingly to avail the internships provided by the placement committee in college.
Placement Experience
The college has a placement coordinator and placement committee which is responsible for the placement process. Companies do visits from all sectors and students can give their interviews as per their requirements.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the two years, the fee is around 12 lakhs for general and OBC students. For other students, the tuition fee is exempted. There are some scholarships available based on need and merit, which students can avail.
Campus Life
Since the DMS is situated at IIT Delhi, the campus is huge. There are fests conducted all over the year. Sports facilities are also available. There are clubs and committees where students can be part of them. Library is also available.
Admission
To get into college, we need to write the CAT exam. After the exam, you would be shortlisted for the gdpi process. Usually, the cutoff remains above the 90 percentile for general and it depends on other categories. After the interview, the waitlist will be released accordingly as merit rank. For merit rank, a composite score will be calculated by calculating the previous year's experience and education.
Interview Experience
After the shortlisting, we were given an essay and an interview to attend. The topic for the essay depends both on static and current affairs. The interview depends mostly on the student's background and recent happenings in the world. Reading the newspaper helps.
