Remarks

The admission process was very good. I came through comed-k entrance exam. Eligibility for the course is you should pass your 12th and take the entrance exam like kcet, comed k , or JEE. Overall this college is very good. I am happy to be here.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to be a software Engineer from the beginning. So I joined this college by taking the entrance exam. All the facilities in NIE are very good and supportive and they help the students in every way possible.

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides many internship opportunities for the students. The internship will start in the fifth semester. Many good companies provide internships to the students and they also give stipends.

Placement Experience

The placement in our college is very good, almost all the students get placed in a very good company and with a very good package. The highest package last year was 42 lakh and the average package is around 8 to 8.5 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the students who come through KCET is about 93,000 and for the students who come through COMED-K is 2,42,000. Our college provides scholarships for the students which gives financial assistance to the students.

Campus Life

Life at NIE is good. The fest which was conducted this year was technieks . The fest was conducted in a very good manner we enjoyed a lot in it. Many books are available in the library and book borrowing facility is also given. We conducted many events in the clubs.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good compared to other colleges because many of my friends said their hostel is not that nice and they are facing many difficulties staying there. I didn't personally face any big difficulties in the hostel.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

Placement Experience:

My plan after degree is to get a good job.

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Placement Experience:

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. Overall the college is good

I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
