Here faculties ar every strict they cause a lot of chaeos for attendance and deduce marks if u loose attendance is labs exams are all conducted very strictly thus increasing the education quality for students

My college is known for the placement it is and is ranked in the top 5 of Karnataka kcet collages the average package for cse ise stream are more than 11lpa thus gets you a safe future and even the core has good placements

The infrastructure is poor feels like a school life and the hostel washrooms are out of order and food condition is intermediate but we hav very good scholarships facility as here many provate scholarship chances are created and are awarded to my frnds

TechNIEks is the college fest popularly hostel in the mysore city the time where everyone enjoys a lot has a happy time it usually comes in even semister the dj nights are super cool and all cultural activities are hosted by cultural club

I got admitted thorough kcet quota here admission is through three different ways kcet quota here they pay fees round about 100000 and comedk quota pay fees around 250000 and mannage ment quota is too expensive costings around 25L for sum total of 4 years

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
