What Students Say

Likes

The faculties of electronics department are way much supportive, be it academics, attendance.
You get much free time to learn some new skills.
Institute is present at not very remote location, its just 4km away from Gwalior railway station.

Dislikes

Labs do not have fully functional equipments.
Indoor sports facilities are not present.

Course Curriculum Overview

The main reason I choose Electronics & Telecommunication Eng. as my branch was it is considered as an all-rounder branch of engineering. As people studying ETE/ECE have a good scope in core plus in the field of IT too. The faculties in the Electronics department are extremely supportive.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement scenario is good enough, which means you can expect that only 2-3 companies visit the campus offering 7-10lpa. Other companies like LTI, Accenture, and Newgen software offer 3.5-6.5lpa for different profiles.

Fees and Financial Aid

I receive the MMVY-Mukhya Mantri medhavi chhatra scholarship. Students who score 85+ per cent in 12th CBSE and have a rank under 150000 are eligible for this scholarship, where you get your complete fee every year as a scholarship.

Campus Life

many annual fests are organized, it is the best part of this college. But yeah there are too many clubs in MITS, they keep organizing various events which keep the fun high. Some of the clubs are like JSM, Dance club mits etc.

Admission

Admission happens on the basis of your JEE Main score. NO application fees were required, only you need to pay the counselling charges for MP DTE counselling. After you freeze your seat in any institute, the institute only gives reporting dates for document verification.

Life Outside the Home

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be exact, the curriculum has to be improvised and structured properly for real-world needs. The structure is outdated, and the pattern is too. The industry-based learning is not being promoted at all, as per my observation. The timing for exams is not frequent, but the paper structure is the same as the old so very outdated for a growing economy like ours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus is not updated so they need to update mean put only that subjects that helps atudents in there career.The timing of the exam that is from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm is not good at all it the time when all feel sleepy.

Great learning experience but placement could be better

Placement Experience:

Well the average package of this college is 3.5 lakhs and max to max 90% kd the students get placed in this college ..so I would say that the placements of this college is good but the average package is so low

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible for the campus placements from their 3rd year/ 6th semester of the program. The companies like - tcs, Microsoft, google,tide, and many others. And the no. Of offers made through the company are 30 for senior/junio/deputy manager approximately. The highest package for this program is 14 lakh for the senior managers per annum last year and the average package is 4-5 lakh for junior managers per annum last year . The approximate percentage of students getting placements every year is 50-60%. I have a plan after the completion of degree. I will start a startup based on farmers equipment and i am preparing for it from last 1years and i will start it after 1-2years of completion of degree.

Project Accident Prevention in hilly areas

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester student eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit in college like prism cement, amazon, wipro etc. Many offers they they give us. Above 65 cgpv will be eligible for campus placement. My plan after getting degree to get the job in construction field. The highest ever package is 18 lakh per annum.
