3 years of Khalsa can never be forgotten.

Everything in world has Good as well bad. That's life. You have to see good and ignore bad. Nothing special to highlight further. It was a good experience all over with ups and downs.

There was no entrance exam. I got admission on merit i.e on my 12th percentage in second cut off list of Khalsa College which was then followed by an interview by then department convener. I wanted to do graduation in science so I opted for Zoology as I have more interest in animals rather than in plants and Khalsa has best science faculty so I chose it.

Course I opted i.e Zoology was great,everything was very systematically distributed in semesters. From classical Zoology in first semester to modern in the following semesters. Modern Zoology do have research options further. Students those who love research can pursue for masters in same in proceed.

Yes. There were internships under teachers during vacations. Working under their guidance was great fun and leaning experience. They guided at every step. Average stipend was 7-8 k.

In Zoology there is no direct placement after graduation. But after masters in Zoology you are open to research, lecturer and many more.

Events were fantastic organized by students union. Each and every society and department participates in fest with games and fun. They are well organized and interesting because of many games like Inter-department games. Our teachers contribute in organization and management as well.

It was affordable total 20000 a year. Also they provide scholarships to students.

As I already mentioned they do provide scholarships to students. I did not but I know some who got.

Best in Extracurricular. Students selected in team play for state levels. And those who were not they got chance in sports fest. Which is no less than a state level match with same enthusiasm and zeal.

No I was not in hostel. But yeah rooms were in sharing among 3. All necessary facilities were provided to students with timely meals.

Great interaction with alumni. They helped in students development not only academically but also personally and professionally.

Tests and assignments were like daily dose to us. After one month of semester every week we used to b occupied with either of them. Finishing them our final semester exams appears. Tests were like practice for the main exams. Talking about labs, they were really fun plus we learnt better what we read in theory. Every individual was provided with his/her equipment like Microscope and everyone was individually dealt by teacher.

Faculty which I got in my course was great they all were very experienced and had Great teaching skills. There was one to one interaction. They were understanding and supportive both academically and emotionally. They connect to students such like they became our second family. Still we are in touch with our teachers and go meet them. They guided students then and now also as to how to pursue further no in Masters but also in life.
