Course Curriculum Overview

I like the course and this course has a very vast field in academics as well as in jobs. The faculty-student ratio is perfect. Like they assign every faculty for 15 students. All faculties are highly educated. Most of them teach very well and everyone has a unique method. The exam should happen after 4.5 months. They notify every student for 1 month. The difficulty is pretty moderate, which means if you understand the module then you'll pass.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 92200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees increased by 1000 per year. Swami Vivekananda scholarship and other educational scholarships are also available. No on-campus job is present. The college will not provide any scholarships or jobs.

Campus Life

The name of the annual fest is Eclecia and the name of the tech fest is Dakshh. But no fest is conducted since covid pandemic and some unfortunate causes. So, till now I am not able to experience that. The Library is very big and every book is present, what one needs in their academic journey. The interdepartmental sports week is conducted every year and the sports teams are very active inside as well as outside of the college. There are some cultural clubs like Anubhav(drama), Pravasana(photography), Resonance (Music), etc present in college. Technical clubs like Geeks, gaming are also present.

Admission

After qualifying the eligibility criteria and online counseling, the admission process starts. Firstly they check the rank of WBJEE or JEE mains. Then they asked for some personal information which was notified previously. Then after registering your personal data and paying the fees the admission process ends.

Placement Experience:

4 yr btech students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of their 3rd yr(5th sem) and for placement 7th sem. 5 yr dual degree students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of 4th yr(7th sem) and for placement 9th sem. So many different profile companies came for placements like amazon, google, ibm, apple, l&t, wipro, infosys, texas intrument, etc. Highest package was 3cr and average is about 20-25 lakhs. Insightful Review - Revealing about campus life and academics.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semeter. Companies visited till now are : tejes - 9lpa, keysite - 7lpa, streebo - 5lpa and a few other product based companies with average pakage offered about 3lpa. Higest pakage - salesforce (32 lpa) off campus, keysite (7lpa) on campus. Last year 60% of total students from final year got placed. My plans is to purusue a higher degree as placement scene of your college is not that great and also i have intrest in ai/ml so i want to study future and dive more deep into its concepts

The course curriculum is not that different from other colleges. At the beginning or 1 st semester we are made to complete the bridge course which basically includes stuff we read in classes 11 and 12. But then also they can't teach properly the already read topics.

I applied to plenty of state engineering colleges and only made it to UIT, BU which has awful facilities and a good ragging culture. So I opted out and went to a private college. Among private colleges, as far as I know, WB, IEM and Heritage are considered to be better. IEM's strict uniform code, zero campuses made me choose Heritage over IEM. The admission process is 1) Through West Bengal Joint counselling, which I went through, 2) Management Quota. I have also applied in other states college like satyabhama of Chennai by giving the entrance and JEE mains for NIT and IIT and I have also give the webjee exam my score is quite good and and I have chosen this college over other colleges because of its number one college in the West Bengal and it have quite good campus comparison to others West Bengal colleges. My JEE score was not that good and my webjee score is quiet good so I prefer the college that is best comes with my score.
