Likes

I like the college campus there is many extra curriculum activities.
I like the faculty members they are very helpful.
I I like the library of the college and the classrooms are very clean.

Dislikes

There is only 4 faculty members which is not enough for 60 students.
There is a college Union in the college and the college included in student politics.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose computer science Honours because I love to read computer and computer fundamentals the faculty members are very good and highly qualified some of them have MSc and the sum of them have Ph.D. exams conducted by the University every 6 months after and the question is a little bit difficult but when one study hard it is simple for them.

Being a Government College and the course is computer science honors the college cannot give any internship and any campusing but they are is many of compass of which is the main target of the college students.

The fee structure is 18000 per year. It was a little bit costly for a government college there are mini types of scholarships Government scholarship State Government Colleges shapes private colleges any type of classic is available but they are is no campus job.

Campus Life

There is an annual function in college but there is no Tech Fest. The library is very rich with many books the classrooms are fully air-conditioned there is a sports competition in the college and they are mini extra curriculum activities available in compass but they are no social books or clubs in the college.

The eligibility for the course is to pass Higher Secondary marks minimum of 55 percent the application form is available on the official website of the college and the application dates are mentioned on the website, yes reservation benefits are available.

I wanted to dive deep into the actual concepts and workings of the economy and understand how the world works from an economist's point of view. Sadly the curriculam doesnt bridge the gap between theory and real life. It focuses heavily on textbook and not how the world works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Physical Chemistry faculties are the best I got, that influenced me to carry forward my research carrier in Physical Chemistry. The curriculum for the Physical and Inorganic chemistry are upto the mark and I felt improvement in teaching style and curriculum is required for Organic Chemistry part. The difficulty of Internal examination can be improved a bit.

It was good to be a part of that college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course is good but you have to opt for masters and PhD to get a good placement. After bsc there's not any placement. The curriculum was basically practical and theoretical based. But I think it should be more practical so that we can get a job after doing bsc. The teaching method was good I didn't have any problem with that. As it was under Calcutta University so the exam questions were too difficult, sometimes it came out of our syllabus , i think they should change this a little bit .

The reality of SCC

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for BSc. Microbiology Hons. was in line with my interests. Few topics like virology, bacteriology, and diversity of the microbial workd are what drew my attention to pick this course. Although there are some portions which one would consider "boring", but I believe every subject has its interesting as well as boring portions. It's seems fair to judge a subject by seeing if the "boring" portions outweigh the "interesting" parts or not.

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum, my rating is solid 4.1 out of 5. Because it offers a variety of courses like compulsory english, environmental science, constitution values of India, Inter Disciplinary Courses where one can opt for a variety of subjects which change along with the course proceeds or semester changes. Not only that two major papers and one minor paper are present throughout the semester. As a student we should be well aware of our country and its law as well as how we can keep our environment healthy followed by sustainable development.

Remarks:

This college is extremely good and known for its discipline and the stress it puts on the importance of studying. Also, there are many extra curricular activities thag one can take part in, and the teachers are helpful and encourages for a better future and are also vert capable. I opted for the course because any biology related course excites me and this college has one of the best faculty for this course.

Firstly, the college was near to me as compared to other colleges. The infrastructure was also good and well maintained.
