Course Curriculum Overview
This is a course with various opportunities. In the field of research as well as in growing Pharma and food industries. Faculties are great. Everytime we have any doubt they are there to help us. They are highly qualified. Term exams held in 2-3 months. The exam level is of high standard. They require practical as well as theoretical knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
We are offered internships from the second year. Internshala offered internships in various projects like data security, cyber security, etc. We also get internships with the Indian government and aicte. we can also do our medical internship at renowned hospitals like SSKM,mck, and Apollo.
Placement Experience
After the 7th sem, students become eligible for campus placements. MacLeod, Dabur, and Mankind are some of the companies that came for campusing. The highest package offered is 3.5 lakhs per annum. About 80-85 percent of students who sat for campusing got placed. But I want to do my master's after graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
Campusing is quite good. And one of the best in West Bengal in pharmacy. The fees are quite low than other pharmacy colleges. Companies like Mankind, Dabur, MacLeod, etc. Comes every year for campusing. there are also some scholarships from college.
Campus Life
There are 2 fests held at our campus. Login and sandbox. Campus Life is very good. We get a chance to explore ourselves. Through various competitions and activities. Ragging free campus. Seniors are very good. Every year a sports competition is held for both boys and girls.
Admission
As this is a ug course so anybody wants to pursue it must be passed the 10+2 examination. Particularly for this course i.e Bachelor of pharmacy Candidate should have physics, chemistry, and biology as his/ her subject combination. The admission is through JEE MAIN and WBJEE . The forms can be find online when the conducting authority releases it. For WBJEE the pharmacy merit rank should be under 6k. And for jee main above 80 percentile. The category wise reservation is there as per the rules. And there is also 4-5 seats for tfw candidates. But tfw is only applicable for candidates admission through WBJEE. And his / her family income should be under 2,50000/ year.
