Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course because of my liking for the subject. There are 60 students minimum and 6 professors in my department. The faculties are well qualified which makes the reading process fun. The exams were always on time according to the CU dates.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite affordable with somewhat around 3k per semester. There is no college-specific scholarship but one can always get a state-supported scholarship program like kanyashree for female students.

Campus Life

An annual fest is conducted every year with other literary and non-literary events. There are quite a lot of books in the library which is very helpful. There are also book clubs and other student-made groups.

Admission

In general, the cut-off was 60 percent in the 12th standard. The application form is available on the official website of the college. Yes, there are benefits provided to reserve category students. The selection criteria were solely merit-based.

The teachers are very friendly. Supply of clean drinking water is available always. Rooms are large, clean, fitted with lights and fans. There's also mic available for large classrooms. The rooms have their specific numbers.

One of the best Girl's College in Town.

Remarks:

No negative comments. The college is one of its own of a kind. It is surrounded by a plethora of greenery which helps the college to be brimmed in fresh air. 24×7. There's no problem at all. The transportation and communication is also of top notch.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college.
