Dislikes

The winters are quite cold and keeping healthy is a tough task
We are still in temporary campus so there's some logistical issues.
The nearest airport is quite far as well as the railway station

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty-student ratio is 1:17. The faculty is really good with excellent communication tools in their arsenal. The term exams are strict to the timeline and there are no off days between exams. The teaching methodology is case-based.

Placement Experience

Students basically start getting opportunities from 1st trimester. We have companies like ICICI, Mahindra Logistics, EY, etc. The average package is above 11.5 lakhs and all the students get placed in reputable companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is that we have to pay in 6 installments and those occur in and around the start of each trimester. There are no opportunities for campus jobs. Scholarship opportunities are for underprivileged students.

Campus Life

We have a cultural fest called Sierra. The classroom has all the basic amenities. The sports culture is quite vibrant here at IIM Sirmaur and we have Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, and Football tournaments taking place around the year.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is that we are Graduates and have appeared for CAT. After that, there will be calls for interview based on a person's percentile. IIM Sirmaur takes admits from CAP as well as SAP.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the curriculum, the best,in terms of relevance. There is many aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. It provided me lots of experince and self confidence to achieve my goal. There should be less activity then studying.Free time can be used for the activities. Timing of the exams is good for the all the students even if they are from long distances . They can reach at the proper timing.

Life at Himanyan IIM

Placement Experience:

Our placement committee is very good and supportive and placement process starts soon as you join the college in 1st year it is summer internship placement and 2nd year it's for final Placement. The placement drive in floated in respective students institute mail ID and they respond to the mail based on the eligibility criteria and the campus has proper infrastructure for conducting offline interview and they are strict norms when comes to placement guidelines like grooming standard and formal business dress code.

Data analyst is one of the modern career options, which is why I determined to pursue this course after graduation. My high school seniors told me about this university since it was one of the best universities in India. Candidates were required to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation to be eligible to apply. The students were selected on the basis of their ranking on the merit list. The merit list was based on their scores on the entrance examination (CAT, GMAT, MAT, SAT, or State entrance exams), the group discussion, and the personal interview.
