Course Curriculum Overview
The course is updated according to recent trends. In the second year, we get to choose our streams like marketing, HR, etc. The faculty-to-student ratio is close to 1:6 which is the best in new IIMs. The faculties are well qualified.
Internships Opportunities
The internships are pretty good. The students secure an Internship from the college itself unless they voluntarily opt out. Many companies offer a PPO. The average stipend was close to 62K for the 2021-2023 batch.
Placement Experience
The placements are very good. This year our average package was around 15.6 lakhs per annum. It saw a huge increase of 30% from the previous batch. The companies that visited included BFSI like ICICI, FMCG like Britannia, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is around 1550000 for two years. It has a scholarship which is need-based financial assistance. In this, you are given a maximum waiver of 25% of the fee. The college helps with securing an SIP and most of it is paid internships.
Campus Life
There are close to 25 clubs and committees in total. Every year the students conduct our annual fest called Elegante. Apart from it, we conduct our flagship Entrepreneurial event called YES. There is a rich sports culture in the college. The library is well equipped with the maximum resources you'd require.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is good. The new hostels have air conditioning. The mess is good and inclusive. There are both veg and non-veg options available. It is a fully residential course. The hostel fees are included in the total fee mentioned.
Admission
The admission process was smooth. The first step is to apply for CAT, then there is an interview call. In my case, it was a CAP call. My interview went well and I had offers from 3 IIM's out of which I chose IIM BG. There is a reservation of 60% seats including EWS.
