Course Curriculum Overview
The IPM program helps in building strong analytical and communication skills. Exams held in mid and end term are moderately tough based on ranking among the students for grading. However live projects, case studies would help in initial years of the IPM program.
Placement Experience
IPM Students becomes eligible for placements in the 4th and 5th year of the program in MBA. Top firms like deloitte, HDFC, ICICI bank visit the campus for recruitment. Average package last year is 12 LPA for a batch size of more than 400 students across courses like MBA DBM, MBA HHM, MBA core.
Fees and Financial Aid
The integrated program in management at IIM bodhgaya is a 5 year integrated course where first 3 years are focused on foundational courses and the last 2 years on MBA program. The fees is 4.5 Lakhs per year for the first 3 years amounting to 13.5 Lakhs and 8.5 Lakhs per year for the next two years totalling to 17 Lakhs for MBA. The total fees adds up to 31 Lakhs approx. Mess charges addes extra, mostly totalying to 2.5 Lakhs for 5 years. while the fees is not discriminated among different categorys students, the students with financial difficulties can apply to various scholarships for financial relief. They also have an opportunity to apply for need based scholarships, which is provided by the college itself.
Campus Life
Campus life here is vibraant with various events of clubs and committes all are student run. Library is well stocked, classes are world class with good sports facilities among IIMs. Here we have a squash court, racing tracks as well.
Admission
I chose IIM BG over institutes like NMIMS, Symbyosis because of its IIM branding and strong industry connects along with MBA integration with BBA. Admissions are through entrence exam called JIPMAT. while there was IIM Jammu also in option, I chose Bodhgaya. Selections include gender and category weightage as well.
Faculty
Professors here are approachable and interactive. Courses here are semister based consisting of midterms, endterms and projects. Exams are moderatly tough, main focus is not on mugging up but on applications, but very few students fail as there is a ranking based grading system here in the college. My inclination is in finance domain and I can tell that majority of the professors here are great, the pool consists of both assistant and associate professors.
Night Life
Campus life is calm but social. Gym is open till midnight while cafes are open till 12 30 PM at night. The gradens inside the campus along with cafes are one of the top choices for people here for hanging out.
