CIMP Review

As far I have not found any bad aspects of the college and goods are the Placement, Mentoring, Dedication in imparting management talent etc. The admission process is as follows : 1 - Application form filling wherein only CMAT, XAT & CAT scores are accepted. 2 - After applying with a valid score card, you get a call for GD, PI & WAT process if the score is above the cutoff. 3 - After completing the above process, we have to wait for the final result where a seat is offered with subject to completion of required documents/records etc. The reason to prefer this college was its previous record, active support of the government, placements etc. After comparing it with the colleges in metro cities I found it on par with them which has a hold on its quality education. It is a Premium B School where the faculties are all from top institutes like IIMs, FMS, IRMA, IITs etc. Previous batches of the colleges have been working in a reputed organization in various industries.

The course curriculum is at par with IIMs wherein the theories are explained through various case studies from Ivey, Harvard etc. The institute makes sure that it imparts relevant and updated studies. The faculties are most approachable for any issue through the mail, phone calls, meetings etc. Also, the faculties are from top-notch institutes like IIMs, IITs, IRMA, FMS etc. The teaching methods depend on the understanding of the students which is a student-driven approach. Timing is a necessary issue because the corporate culture is taught right from the first day and being late is never acceptable and the same goes with exams. They are always on time.

It has both off and on campus internship programs. Several companies visit the campus to hire interns from all over the country. 100% summer placements have been a record since inception. All the companies that visit for campus placements offer an internship program and also offers a PPO in case of extraordinary performance.

Students start to get offers from the start of the second year. The regular visiting companies are ITC, HUL, Airtel, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC AMC, HDFC Ltd., BFIL, Prism Jhonson Cement, Uttkarsh Small Finance Bank, Asian Paints, Berger Paints, TATA Advanced Systems, COMFED, JEEVIKA, TATA Power DDL etc. The average placement varies from 7-8 LPA every year. and has a record of 100 % placement since inception. I would be pursuing a job in finance sector after completion.

For my batch, the tuition fees are 6,90,000. For the next year, people will have to check the updated structure with the admissions office. The govt. of Bihar itself offers a loan of up to 4 Lacs. on a minimal interest rate. Other than that, the students easily avail of loan from banks as the institute has a reputed name. The placement has been an integral part as it has a record of over 100% placements since inception and companies like ITC, HUL, Marico, Airtel, TATA Advanced Systems, Asian Paints, ICICI Bank, HDFC Ltd., HDFC AMC, YES Bank etc. visit the campus every year.

Since the COVID arrived fests have been suspended but looking at the previous years I can surely say that there have been various of them. The LRC has a huge resource of books from eminent writers and mentors where it has a separate space to read and very easy to access. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned with soundproof attachments so that there is no disturbance. For sports, a playground is there and a fully equipped badminton court is there. There are several committees run by students under the guidance of a mentor faculty for social as well as professional activities such as Editorial Committee, Placement Committee, Social Committee, Advocation Committee, Cultural committee, Sports committee etc.

Since the PGDM program is fully residential, the hostel has single bedrooms along with all the amenities required. The food quality is authentic and has two mess where one can opt any on monthly basis. The admission office takes care of the registration while admission only. It is a mandatorily stay in hostel program.

Since I had an interview in COVID time, it was virtual and the questions were from my previous background and the purpose to choose MBA and it was a long interview altogether. The process starts from application filling and goes till the interview and offer if the cut off is cleared. I was preparing for it through different mentors who have been guiding people for years.
