Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum and the faculty members are good especially in the mechanical department and the team and with the efforts made to the course was good for the future of the team and the students of our college.

Internships Opportunities

The placements opportunities provided by the college is average. The company will start coming in the college from 7th semester. The project I made is robot who can run and hold any object with control.

Placement Experience

The placement of this college quite good the average package of this college is about 4lpa to 20 lpa . The placements for the student of computer science is highest . The percent of student get placed is approx 70 percent . I am preparing for the CAT exam and want to MBA after my engineering. Till now I have not visited any companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is very economical and there is so much chances of getting a higher engineering degree from a qualified government organization that is not only for a thorough and financial development and has not yet done.

Campus Life

The Techfest is the technical fest and Madhura as the cultural fest and there are many groups like the happy club endeavours mavericks and all the best for the future of the team and the fabrication and designing.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is very good with a very nice environment bur sometimes there is summer it's problem due to high temperatures of the longwall Punjab the summer is very problematic but there are ac pgs. in longwall.

Admission

Set 3 exam was found on the website and there is a caste-based reservation system the admission process is very easy and hassle-free the whole process was very frequent and the document verification was also very good.

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding and math were the subject that influenced me to take this course we are introduced to python and c / c ++ which are the major languages used in the society for AI/ML. Teachers should be more friendly and try to undertsand the students's prospective also and not rush the syllabus we have our exams every regular month (STs and evaluations and end terms)

I don't like any curriculum in our college one day they kept mid and sem exams on same day to be frank my 1st completed in just 8 months I joined in Jan in August end it was completed my first year actually it should be completed in 1 year .

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

Placements are good in this college in this college previous year average package was 9 lakhs 50 thousand and highest package was 60 lakhs but in this college number of students are very high so competition also increases.

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
