Sports were always the best at our college.
We had the best canteen food that was available.

The attendance criteria the college had imposed.
Final evaluation of papers by JNTU was so bad.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams were conducted regularly and it depends on students level of understanding. Relatively easy to pass unless one performs too badly. The evaluation in finals is pathetic and it is purely luck based as JNTU evaluates these papers. Noe that the college is autonomous, I hope the system has changed.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 87400 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There was an increase in fees. It was almost doubled for the branches like CSE, Ece and IT. Govt scholarships are given to ews category students. Earlier, the MMT dept used to give scholarships to students based on merit.

Campus Life

College Fest: Nirvana, Feb to March Dept Fest: Metallon, Dec to Jan We have a well-established library where we find good resources for books and other international journals. In addition, we also have dept library where we can find good research papers by eminent researchers. Classrooms are decent with all the facilities but Non-ac. Sports form a great culture here with 2 basketball courts, a sports room, 2 volleyball courts and 2 grounds for cricket and football. We have various clubs like music, literature, arts, MUN etc.

Admission

Admission process is through EAMCET exam. While all the courses had strict ranking cap, it's easy to get an admission in Metallurgy Department. The process is smooth and handy. All the details of the application and it's fees is mentioned is on clg website. You can find admission form in examination dept in the college as well. One feedback is to reduce the batch size and increase the placement quality

Absolutely unsatisfied because of faculty and lack of placements.

Placement Experience:

Right Iam in 7 th semester ending,no company came to our college to recruit us.May be in 8 th sem companies will come.My seniors got in some companies like TCS, Infosys,Capgemini etc..with an average of 3.6 lpa.And all students did not get placed just 10 students in each class got placement.We need more placements to satisfy the students.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

The placements here are good and the highest package for this year 2024 is around 54 lakhs and last year the Highest package is 42 lakhs offered by Amazon there are placements available for every branch and the average package is 9 lakhs

Placement Experience:

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. The Percentage of students getting placed is less compared to previous years around 20-30%

this is the best college for the students who are very auspicious and determined

i did applied for various colleges like chaitanya bharathi intistute of technolgy,vasavi ,vjr college etc and this college i got admissions in vasavi college and mgit but in vasavi college i got civil branch in which i don't have intrest and got IT department in mgit so i choose mgit over vasavi college and i got rejected by cbit, cvr college because i got eamcet rank which are not enough to get admissions in those colleges .In MGIT ,the minimum rank for the cse is 6000 and for ece and ET's the rank is 11000 for general category and we also have B category in which the students can get admissions through there jee mains percentile...Read More
