My college journey

College management was really awesome, they used to co- ordinate with seniors a lot. Apart from placement everything was good with this college. I would recommend people to take admission here if they can manage to get jobs away from college

AIEEE 117 65139 I opted because one of my known was there in that college he said me college will give you better placements, so there is no need to go far away to south from my home town in Ranchi

It was not that good, government should look what industry wants from students and should modify the subjects according to job needs. We have to take skills based training in order to get job.So its better to produce engineers rather than robots who has no knowledge of market needs

No my college does not provide internship. One has to visit industries were one can get training from. College assist us in getting training from those companies. It is a paid training we have to pay to industries.

Placement is worst of this college. Earlier it was good but in 2014 it was really pathetic. Most of the companies were fake and were not good, Even the packages were not nice it was 10-12 pm, most of the companies were fake when we went for verification of their address and location

Saraswati Puja Independence Day Republic Day Vishwarkama Puja Diwali Foundation Day Teachers day Engineers day children day At times cultural fest were organised and technical fest as well. Cultural fest was one of the best thing of this colleges, people from many other colleges use to come here to watch the event

Fee structure was 41000 per semester, so it was not that expensive. Although our seniors paid just 25000 per semester and completed their engineering, thinking of that it sounded bit expensive but when you compare with other states it was just an average expense. hostel fees were 29000 per semester

No there was no scholarship facility provided by college, hence I was not eligible for any scholarship. Although loan facility was available for students from PNB banks and other banks. People from different state used to get scholarship from government.

Mostly boys were in high ratio, but girls were in huge numbers in IT, CSE, ECE, Biotechnology, Applied electronics branch. Sports tournament used to be a regular activity one can find people practicing for different spots like cricket, football, tyc-wondo etc

I was not a member of this hostel I used to live in an apartment with my friends, although my colleague said that food was average and for the girls it was really cooked well. I ate food in this canteen twice it was okay according to me. But still I would say not to opt for hostel facility as water is always an issue there

Yes seniors are always helpful. Not everyone if good and not all are bad. If we respect them they will so love and help us in every possible way.

there was 2 internal exam held every semester and labs were conducted on daily basis for subjects. Labs were really boring as I hardly wanted to participate in any activity and was hectic for me. Exam were held two time in a year which was called as sem exams which is general for all btech people.

Through AIEEE counselling - I wen to saltlake, I selected this college in 3rd number among all the people who took admission in this college. Once seat confirmation was done I went to Durgapur to get enrolled there. People there were really coordinating in nature. I loved being a part of this college

Like in any college, few were really scholars and few were not having good knowledge of the subjects which they were teaching. Overall faculty were good and they helped me as well in subjects. I qualified my GATE exam as well a bit was due to their help. DM sir was really great, he has nice knowledge of subjects
