Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have chosen this course because of the course syllabus and my curiosity about computers. I am from a non-medical background. The course curriculum was quite impressive because it teaches various programming languages like C, C++, java, HTML, CSS, js, python and some software like Photoshop, PowerPoint excel, SQL and in this course there are basically three core papers and the rest of SEC which is compiled for giving 4 company exams conducted by NASSCOM, the junior software developer, web developer, software developer and junior data associate, and the paper is around 600 marks consisting of several modules and the student must pass all the modules, then she'll be eligible for the gold certificate. It has categories above 70% gold above 60 silver rest of bronze and the minimum is 50 is any module fails to score 50 then one must apply for a re-exam. The fee is 800 INR. Apart from this teachers were very helpful, and cooperative. But after the cuet and nep it is changed.

Internships Opportunities

3

Colleges as such don't provide many opportunities apart from placement fairs, I got my first internship as a part of the hackathon and scoring position in that but that was unpaid and by computer science departmental techathon. But you can get as per your connections with teachers and seniors, they'll help you a lot, I got another one from one of my references from a senior and it was paid and currently freelancing with one of the seniors.

Fees and Financial Aid

It costs around 40000inr to study this course at my time now it's around 60 or 70. There is a placement cell on the campus so it is based on the opportunities but as my experience of the placement fair the stipend was not more than 5k and the salary is about 10k. And honestly, there were not many opportunities for my course, which mostly belonged to Bcom.

Campus Life

3

The infrastructure is good, It was quite neat and calming. There is also the GDSC Google Developers student club, I was a part of the Video Graphics and Animation (VGA) team and served this year as the co-lead of VGA. GDSC was established by my senior and it's really a good platform where students can learn more about tech and can get several opportunities with the events, and fests tracks. The classrooms are average like normal sitting quite spacious and ventilation is good too. The library is not that big but it has a good collection. It has many extra curriculum activities like 4 times every month. The campus has its own gym. two gardens and lots of flowers and greenery have playground too, the auditorium is not that big and good, building own hostels, also it has a cyber centre for students. As we got fewer chances of college because of covid so life was quite okay.

Admission

I Got My Admissions Based On Merit Cut Off Of the University Of Delhi, It Was Before Cuet So It Was Based On The Merit And I Got This College Kalindi College Which Is In East Patel Nagar In The 3Rd Cut-Off List

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th or 5th semester. Deloitte , Bain & company, PWC ,EY, Grant Thornton (for consulting services) offer the highest package to roles like analyst and accountant. Other companies such as ICICI Bank, Kotak securities , Inshorts , Urban company,HUL, Wipro,ITC hotels , Appollo Hospital etc. the highest package recorded in 2024 was 23.05 LPA and average package as 6 LPA . 85-90% of the eligible students get the placement, the data might vary as some students opt for 4th year for their research work. My plans after getting the degree lie in marketing or consulting field.

I to be honest don't like my course much but it's not too bad also , it does allow you to have a practical exposure along side your studies. As the pressure of syllabus is not much. Teaching methods are not too good also but not bad too. The difficulty level is not much.

I choose the curriculum on the basis of its heay emphasis on the software development part. It is not really reflects itself in the real-world application, I had to pursue other option to grow my skills. It needs to make it better in the project and application department. They need to work on some real life projects. Frequency of the exams: On the semester basis Nascom exams: Yearly basis Difficulty: Easy
