Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this college because I want to do Btech in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in cyber security. We have around 4 branches for Btech which are CSE(Cyber Security), CSE, Ece, and Ece(Avionics), and there are around 150-170 students in the whole Btech department. there are a total of 7 teachers per 45 students. the faculty is pretty much qualified, all of them are PhDs. There were exams every month and have quite difficult questions although the teaching method of our teachers is very good.
Internships Opportunities
There are many Internship opportunities at our university, In June some students from ECE Avionics are going to go to IIST Thiruvananthapuram for a Certificate Credit course And in the third semester, the best of the students will get a chance to do an internship in ISRO or DRDO.
Placement Experience
from 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited are OLA, Uber, etc, and we have our CSE branch affiliated with DRDO and Our ECE branch Affiliated with ISRO. the best students from every branch will get a chance to do an internship in ISRO or DRDO. In our University around 60% of students get placement. Ill start a startup after getting my Degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fee structure is pretty much affordable, there are around 45000 rs fees for 2 semesters and the hostel and mess fee for a month is 30000 rs fee. the scholarship opportunities are also pretty good there are some national scholarships and some state scholarships you can apply for.
Campus Life
The campus life is pretty interesting I got a lot of friends and so many sports to play. we also enjoyed a Fresher's party organized by our seniors, it was conducted in February month. We have a rich availability of books in our library and there are all kinds of journals available there. regarding sports we have our own clubs for sports like Volleyball, Football, and Cricket. our university has its own website and they are developing their mobile application.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are also very good, we have to pay around 12000 rs per semester as our Lodging fees and 3000 rs as mess fees per month. facilities provided in the room are a table and chair, bed, an Almira, and a bookshelf. the mess food is sometimes good and sometimes shit, they have a schedule for mess food and they provide 3 times food in a day including Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Rented rooms and pgs are available at a distance of 3-5 km away from the university and cost around 5000-6000 per month and provide every facility as a hostel.
