Course Curriculum Overview
I chose electrical engineering. I like works related to electrics. Also, this branch is an evergreen branch. Lots of placement opportunities are there in this branch. There are many faculties present here. You can find a ratio of 1:4. the faculties are highly qualified.
Internships Opportunities
The college does provide campus placements and students become eligible for placements for the seventh semester itself. In the electrical branch, a lot of companies visited last year like Ashok Leyland, Tata power etc along
Placement Experience
The placements are very good. The college provides good placement. You can apply for placement from the 7th semester. NRL, Wipro, oil, cognizant, etc are some of the companies that visit the college for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very less, in a year you have to pay only one time that too only 11000, there are exam fees too, also a few amounts they charge for tech events. a lot of scholarships can be applied for students.
Campus Life
The annual fest is Pyrokinesis. This fest was something outstanding, it was beyond our expectations. It is a four-day fest which comes once every year. There is a library where students can go and study by themselves.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are very good and well-maintained. All types of necessary facilities are provided there. The environment is good for students. The mess is well-maintained and hygienic. 10k is the admission fees in hostels and around 3k is the fees per month.
Admission
I got admission through an entrance exam called combined entrance which is held in Assam for only the citizens of Assam. The cutoff was moderate. The admission process is a little bit hectic. There are reservation benefits in this exam.
