Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty members are really nice, caring, etc I really loved the methods of teaching by the faculty members. Dr Barnali Goswami ma'am, Dr Banikanta Talukdar, and Mr Sansanka Sekhor Sharma are really good at communicating with the students, not only them but other faculty members are also good
Internships Opportunities
Companies that come with internship opportunities are Oil India, Louis Berger, oil and natural gas corporation, shah technical consultant, power grid, gammon India Limit, Guwahati metropolitan development authority
Placement Experience
Well placement facilities in our college are excellent, the package till now is 25-30 lakhs per year for starters, it has many placement facilities. 60-70% of students get placed in Assam Engineering College
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly the fee is 30000, it's really affordable for low-grade students who ones to continue their studies for 4 years and come out as an engineering students. There are many scholarships available such as Ishan Udai, and also for st, sc people's, etc
Campus Life
First of all, I would say that it's surrounded by greeneries, etc. There's a Liberty which has lots of books, we can also borrow the books and keep it until the end of the semester, the classrooms are really clean, lots of sports also occur, sports are really required in our life as we go through many studies pressures, playing various kinds of sports makes us stress-free and also improves our mental, physical health. There are many clubs run by the students like Sovic- which helps people in need, and jam club- singing beat the house- dancing, and many more.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are really excellent, free Wi-Fi, the meals are very nice, the bathrooms are very clean, really cool environment for study, mainly hostel 7 is the best hostel in the entire AEC, it is really clean, affordable, etc.
Admission
A student should have a minimum 50%( 45%for sc, 40% for st) in class 12 To find any application forms, application fees and application dates, we can apply in @astu.ac.in ST plains have 10 % reservation, SC has 7% reservation, ST hills has 5%reservation, PH has 3% reservation
Other Applied Colleges
JEC | EE
Because AEC has the better placement facilities more than JEC, professors are relatively better than JEC, the classrooms& environment are much better than JEC
