Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good here. Their teachers are highly qualified professionals who are highly educated. They provide a very good education to us. The labs are very well equipped and the bearers are very good.

Placement Experience

The placements are very good in our college. Especially the core branches are more preferred for the jobs of PSUs. The package is also good here, as the PSUs provide at least 12 to 18 lakhs let annum. The PSUs include OIL, IOCL, NRL, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very low as it is a government college. It varies from 30k to 35k per year. The scholarship program is also very good. They provide Ishan Uday which gives us with 78k per year, which is very good.

Campus Life

Life at AEC is very good and chilling. The culture of sports is amazing in this college. There are a lot of clubs in this college. Some of them include Bordoisila, the Bihu club, and the AEC jam club which are one of the most active clubs of AEC.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is very good. The mess workers are very good and provide us with good food and water to us. There is also an internet facility available here which is free for all the hostel members. In short, hostels are one of the best choices for less expenses.

Admission

To get into this college, you have to give an entrance exam CEE and the ones with the highest ranks get a chance to study here. It is one of the best colleges in the entire northeast. It is the oldest engineering college in the entire northeast.

Placement Experience:

The college placement aren't much in our college because our college is too deep inside the area it's like a village area companies find it difficult to come here. Companies mostly come for chemical and mechanical engineering students to hire them. For electrical and civil you have to apply off campus. I don't know the highest package from our college but the recent package that was offered by mahindra to mechanical engineering students was 19000 per month. Atleast 35% students get on campus placement. My plan after degree is to pursue mtech or maybe BFA in Seoul, South Korea or maybe find a job outside india

Placement Experience:

The placement of this university is not upto the mark. The highest package recieved by a student was 37 LPA. He was an ECE student. The average LPA is around 6-7 LPA. I think it's a bit low compared to NITs/IITs. But compared to other central and state universities its quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is btech and since it is an IIT the faculty are the best in their fields profs here have done PhD from Stanfords of the world and the prof-student ratio is very healthy. Although there are a lot of exams in the ballpark weekly one or the other exam will be there and the exams are very tough but grading is relative.

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for internship placement in the 5th semester and for the full time, you're eligible for campus placement in the 7th semester. 223 offers were made for 22 pass out students. Some of the companies that visited our campus are Amazon Deloitte ZS Associates Tekion Mindtickle Gamescraft. The highest package was 61.5 lakhs and the average package was 15.34 lakhs. 95.12 per cent of students got placed. My plan after college is to work as a software developer.

My college experience

Admission is based on the scores obtained. admission using their JEE scores, entering through the CSAP round and JoSAA counseling. The college provides category-based benefits for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates. The cutoff marks for the college typically range from 120 to 130 out of 480. Only the top-performing students in the entrance exam are admitted to the college.
