Course Curriculum Overview
Bsc finance is one of the best undergraduate commerce courses offered by any college in the country. All the faculty are very knowledgeable and explain every concept nicely. The course content is also aligned with the CFA exam, making it easier for students to crack CFA LEVEL 1 and 2.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are compulsory for everyone after 2nd year. All kinds of roles and tasks cab be given to interns. Teachers also assist in finding out internships and the college also provides us with an internship after the 2nd year if we are unable to look for one ourselves.
Placement Experience
The placements at the college are pretty good. Most of the students sitting for placements do get placed. The average package last year was 533000 and the highest package was 16lakhs. Big corporates like Jp Morgan Chanse and Goldman Sachs also recruit from the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the college are quite high compared to other colleges in India. Chances of scholarship are also minimal. But on-campus job placements are pretty good with the highest package even going up to 16 lakhs.
Campus Life
Since it's in the heart of Mumbai, we don't have a big campus but the extracurricular activities are very good. There are 12 different clubs catering to all sorts of activities and once a year the 4-day college fest VAAYU also takes place which is one of the biggest college fests in India.
Admission
For admission into NMIMS, we need to write the NPAT exam. 3 topics are tested in the exam - 1. Quantitative analysis( Maths), Logical Thinking and English. The exam is not too difficult but also not too easy and the admission forms can be found on the NMIMS website.
