MY COLLEGE (GCET) REVIEW : THE GOOD , THE BAD and THE AWESOME

I mean i was opting for cse but i did not get into that ,I get IT which is almost same as cse so no problem . I like technical field and data science and ml so that's why IT. faculty student ratio is fine like 1:20 probably .like in first year their are more than 1000 students and like 50 around facultys . Most of the faculties are well qualified masters atleast ,phd too from good colleges like NIt and all .Teachings methods depend on the individual techers but sadly most of techares method are very conventional and old .so new student should not except techers who will give you freedom . most of the techers are same as school teachers . One of major drawback of any aktu college and my college is term exams . never follow the academic calender ,sem exams are taken as board exams . Centre goes to other collges , it,s not easy to score good ,you have to work hard to achieve a 8 cgpa or upper almost 30% of student get backs , and copy checking is very pathetic in aktu .

1. Campus placement start from 7 semster only . 2. Infosys , tcs , wipro like sevices bases companies visit he campus . there is no accurate for no of comapnies 20 30 comanies visit . most of them are mass recruiters so they hire 50 -300 peopele in one time . 3 .One of student which is personally i knowed i bhaiya from 4th year got 25 lac lpa which is highest this year . average pacakage is around 4 5 lakhs . 4. collge posters will tell you 100% students get placed not a reality .atleast 30% student do not get any offer or get very bad offers . 5. my plan is to go for a off campus placment , i am currntly doing data science which is kinda going great .not sure what will future hold, i am surely not going to sevice based compnies .

1.Cost of study is very good in college . first year fees is like 125000.and then from next year it will be 114000.and additinal 8000 exam fee per year . if you take hostel or a flat it will cost you 100000 per year least .SO all around 250000 per year and 10 lac will be your 4 year .I think its affordable for middle and upper class. 2. abdul kalam technical university scholship is offered by up goverment .its come around 60 k which is pretty good amount .financial aid is provided by up goverment for students whose family income is less than 4 lac and their parents is not in goverment job . they cover all, the expenses but their interset rate is high around 8 % . well well, jobs in campus majority are the servics base company like infosys ,tcs product based company do not come to campus .Although some students get very good packages but it mostly through their hard work . you will not find offficial data on placements because on campus placement is not good for sure.

The annual fest is name GCET UNIFEST which is very good , it happens in month of april and may mostly . last year hardy sandhu came it was blast for me personally i really enjoyed it .their is fresher party also kr$na came this year .let me tell you this many celbrities come to galgotias univerity too which you can also go . if you are good at dancing or singing , you have good chance to meeting them too . in only 23 akshay kumar, ranveer kapur , emraan hasmi already come this year so it quite good . 2.Sorry i dont go to library , a quiet big library is in collge all the subjects and non sbujects books are avilable thire nerds can go and enjoy. 3. its not in my college . 4. Sports ground is very good , if you good at it join the club of sports give trials and thier are team of gcet football and basketball team which is very good . their are loads of activity you can do and join the respective clubs like singing , dancing , guitar . 5 intsa pages - everything.galgotias.

Eligibilty of course: I am an btech student and in btech you can take admission by two methods 1.By giving the uptu exam and based on percentile you will get college but first you have to these crediantls - passed 10+2 with pcm and atleast 45 % in all three of them .5% relaxation for sc/st. 2.lateral entry -a three year diploma with minmum of 0f 60% aggregate To find application form , fees and dates you can visit up aktu ac .in or you can find it like websites sarkari result or collegedunia. 3.resevation is 90% of seats are for up students , the cast and girls resevation is same as the jee main exam . 4.the counselling process is very hectic and go up to 2 3 months that can be changed.
