Likes

Akgec has a very good infrastructure and I think it has the the best infrastructure among all aktu colleges.
All the students in AKGEC are very dedicated towards their studies like even if they just study one day before exam they score good marks.
Some faculty members are really supportive.

Dislikes

Some rules of akgec that makes no sense.
The criteria of internal marking schemes is very bad.
Some faculty teach very badly that we had to take support from YouTube and other websites.

Course Curriculum Overview

I got this course during my UPSEE counseling. ECE branch contains approx. 200 seats in AKGEC. All the faculty members are either MTech or Ph.D. holders. Some faculty members are very good and some are doing just finishing the syllabus. Exams are very timely conducted. AKGEC conducts two sessional tests and one pre-university exam. The level of these exams is bitted hard as compared to the main university exam.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Accenture, etc. offer internship opportunities after they have hired you. The college also provides mini internships along with academics every year which includes projects. And at the last year, students are required to work on one major project.

Placement Experience

The placements start in the seventh semester or end of the sixth semester in AKGEC. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Accenture, HCL, Infosys, and global logic hire students. The highest package of ECE last year was around 25 lakhs and the average package of ECE is around 5-6 lakhs. Approx 90% of students are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of AKGEC for one year are around one lakh excluding the exam fees. There are many scholarship opportunities for students. There is a different scholarship scheme for girl students. This college also provides funds if you want to conduct any event.

Campus Life

There are many technical and cultural societies in this college that conduct several events every year. Some technical societies are robotics, phoenix, etc. And cultural societies are for dance, singing, acting, etc. Silver Jubilee was celebrated this year in which many events were conducted.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel building for the first year is different and they are kept separate from other year students. Girls hostel has double seater and triple seater rooms. The food quality of mess in hostels is okay with the same menu followed every week. The documents for the registration are available on the official website.

Admission

I got admission to AKGEC through UPSEE which is not conducted now. Now admissions are taken through JEE mains marks or you can take admissions through direct admissions by your intermediate marks percentage. Application forms, application fees, and dates are available on AKGEC official website.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

Lab infrastructure and availability and practical approach
Hygience managed in every block and department

Poor management regarding any issue and problem
iCloud app not working properly and full of glitches and bugs
Slow process and management takes a lot of time to do work

Placement Experience:

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Good college for Degrees

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

Placement Experience:

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

I liked the professor of college their teaching style and unique approaches

Girls to boys ratio is very less as compared to other colleges

The curriculum designed is new latest like we study subjects such as emerging technology digital electronics computer science c , english for job the teacher teaches us using projector visualisation the first mid sem happens after 1 month or opening of college difficulty level is very easy

Encouraging more internship and training opportunities for students.
Expanding campus activities and facilities for overall development

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

I got thus college through counselling and the top AKTU Affiliated colleges I opted to were JSS, AKGEC, ABES, from which I got ECE branch in AKGEC which I locked in the first round of counselling itself as I was satisfied with the college. 1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I chose this college as in previous times it was doing quite good in placements and but now most of the students are unplaced. Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
