MIT mostly follows NIT suratkal's curriculum.since it a university they prepare their own question paper. Follow relative grading point System. There are a lot of student clubs and fests due to which students learn things by doing it rather than bookish learning. Students are given lot of free time to study on their own. The course curriculum is student friendly

Internships Opportunities

Lot of professors give internship to students in their field of Research. These internships are not paid but you will be the co-author of the paper presented by the professor. Admission

I joined to MIT through SAGES quota : reservation of seats to childrens who studied their +1 and +2 in schools run by Manipal University. I a fee wavier of 90% . due to which I am able to study Computer science in MIt. After the exam MUOET the rank list is made and you are invited to join on the basis of your rank in rounds of allotment. Come prepared with all the documents like 12 th mark card. etc mostly all the admission process is online but the hostel allotment will be done offline in college.

Faculty

3.5

There are experienced as well as fresher faculty. Most of the Professors have Phd's and have good knowledge of what they teach. Overall the teachers are good and encourage you in developing. MIT mostly recruit teachers from NIT's or college which are higher in Ranking than itself. this helps a lot.

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.
