i have choose these subject/department because i love to construct buildings and bridges and many of structures , so i choose civil engineering , in thease stream max number studens are there , it is difficult to get chances in job

Companies like Amazon , talentise global limited, jd ramky etc were visited our college and gives us role of site engineer, assistant engineer and project manager as well with a internship training of 6 month.

From 6th semester students become eligible for campusing and placement via college. The companies like talentise global limited,jd ramky,Amazon etc are visited our college for college placement. 70% students get placement every year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of diploma is around 750rs per semester or 1500rs per yearly basis. The scholarship we got is swami Vivekananda scholarship,mi scholarship , oasis scholarship etc. and we got campus in college after 5th semester.

Campus Life

The annual fest is named as annual fest no changes in name is applied and it is held in June or July month every year. All books of all departments are available in the library as well . Our college has its official website www.sgpolytechnic.org

Admission

First of all we have to fill up the form of the entrence exam , for entreing into the college , then the council gives a date for the enternce exam then we have ti give the exam and then reasults came out and i got admittted into the college .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mechanical engineers design and build solutions to a range of problems.improving efficiency across wide range of industries. By studying mechanical engineering, I can look forward to good job prospects.high salaries and varied work.my collage has nice equipped laboratories and good classroom.it has well maintained hostel for men. I love the environment of my collage.my collage give importance to both studies and other extracurriculum activities. My favourite teacher is professor sourav das.he can handle any type of students.my collage teacher teaching methods are awesome , teachers serve as instructor who deliver knowledge to their students.through lecture and direct instructions aim to measure the result through testing and assignments. 3 years full time diploma engineering courses that's 1 semester/ 6 month. It is too difficult to pass out of this branch. The syllabus of mechanical engineering is quite huge. One cannot comprehend the vastness of mechanical engineering.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

After the 5th Semester apparently companies start interviewing students. I am going through campusing right now. I have been selected by Aurora for further interviewing. Highest package is of Jindal around 17k and average package is 11k with accommodations. 85-90% students get placement. I am planning for higher study completing B.tech after getting the degree.

Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.

You have to qualify the Secondary examination from any recognized board with 35%. You have to score 30% in Maths, Science and English. For admission one need needs to appear in the JEXPO entrance examination while in/ after class 10th, and appear for the councelling based on the rank achieved. All the details are posted on the WBSCTE website. For 2019, the last round admission cut offs went to around 22k.
