Course Curriculum Overview

There is a lot of scope in computer engineering it is the best course and it is having a wide scope in the future, there are 5 divisions of computers and 2 divisions of IT with a capacity of 69 students and each subject is having special faculty. The faculty is having a degree from a reputed college like Walchund College of Engineering, the teacher are best for maths faculty and some teachers are good and some of them are new here, my college is affiliated with Savitri bai Phule Pune University and the exam are in 2 terms 1 and term 2 and the exam is in semester exam and end sem exam.

The college provides well-on-campus placement the student becomes eligible for placement after completing B E Degree the highest package for last year was 15 LPA and the average package is 4.5 lpa various companies visit our colleges like TCS, Infosys, persistent, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is 65000 and it is with an EBC scholarship, if you are not taking EBC, the fees will be 110000 and the scholarship is an EBC scholarship and Punjabrao scholarship for hostel students, so you get an on-campus placement as well.

Campus Life

Life is best at college, there is a carnival and traditional day at my college, there is the availability of books and journals at my library and there are a lot of clubs in our college for various festivals and there are a lot of new opportunities.

Admission

You must have to give mhtcet exam and its cut-off is 91.54 for EWS and my selection was through mhtcet exam the cut-off exam was 91.54, for the application form, it has started and the candidate for SC, ST, and OBC get the reservation for their application.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Actually I applied to various colleges but due to slightly less percentage than the cut-off Didn't get admission anywhere else for my desired branch. Through my MHTCET exam i got enrolled in this college as it was the only one in my marks range regarding computer branch. I would i have got better colleges but the branch will be Electronics or mechanical or civil maybe. Our college has better campus area than other ones.The ambience is so so good. But from teaching and placement and internship perspective it is not so good than other colleges.
