- Teaching method is traditional and very boring.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I want to study in the commerce field and learn accounting and management and I chose Delhi University particularly the various opportunities it gives to students. The faculty of DU is very good but the teaching method is traditional and very boring. The exams were twice a year and it is very to pass them but scoring well is a difficult task.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are very less and are available only when an internship fair is organized by the society. They mainly recruit interns for HR and Sales internships. The internship offered is mostly work from home and mostly unpaid ( mainly those are offered to freshers.).
Placement Experience
Colleges provide campus placements and also a good package but the number of placements is very less in comparison to the number of students. The percentage of students who get placement is very less. I want to be an entrepreneur and plan to start my career after graduation till then I am looking for an internship that helps me to get exposure and learn how the industry works and helps me identify opportunities in them.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for the course are very less which is around 12000 a year. But the cost to study is very high as Delhi is an expensive city. College also provides financial assistance to weaker sections based on their aptitude.
Campus Life
Social life in college is very good. There are around 35 societies in college that give great exposure and organize many fests all year. The library is very good and also big enough to cater to the needs of students. It remains open after college hours.
Admission
Eligibility for admission was 12th pass with 60 % and in addition to it we have to give an entrance exam named CUET ( Central University Entrance Test ). The application form can be easily found on the CUET website ( i.e, cuet.samarth.ac.in ).
