Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It has good placement records, so I chose this course at this college. faculty to student ratio is about 20:1 Ph.D. faculty ratio Most faculty are Ph.D. holders and some are master's degree holders. Exams happen two times in a semester as midterm and end-term exams. Difficulty level of exams depends on teacher to teacher some make it a little difficult and some make it very difficult. Overall exam and academic processes are on the tougher side.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Companies that offer internships in my college are Deloitte, BNY Mellon, Google, etc. Most offers that are provided are for software developers, web developers, and UI/UX designers. Some other role offers are also provided with some decent stipends. Most of the internships are based on projects made by students

Placement Experience

4.5

After 5th semester students become eligible for placements. companies visited are adobe, Samsung, slice, Oyo, uber, ZS, BNY Mellon, Delloite, VMware, amazon, Delhivery, American Express, etc. The total offers made are 550. The highest package is of58.85 lakhs and the average package of all branches combined is 15.79 lakhs. 97% - 98% of students get placed every year. My plan is to get a high paying job and having a side startup.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college are on the higher side according to the facilities provided by the college but those higher fees may be worth it as this college provides decent placements to approx 96-98% of students. There is a fee hike of approximately 7-8% every year, making it an expensive college. There are no separate scholarships but they give some scholarships based on CGPA results.

Campus Life

4

The annual fest's name is Vivacity and Tech fest is Plinth they are a nice fest and are organized on a higher level. they are conducted in October / November generally but this time they are organized in January and February. Books and journals are available in the most updated version in the library most of the time so it is more useful for students. Sports facilities are good in the college but the administration spends a very less amount of money because of which students have to manage by themselves only. multiple extracurricular activities happen in college regularly so that students can learn and explore something new which they have never done before. Cultural groups of the college are Sankalp, Debsoc, Aaveg, Imagination, Vignette, etc. Some websites where you can check about all these clubs and activities are Desportivo. lnmiit, plinth. lnmiit, vivacity. lnmiit etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Different types of rooms are available in different hostels and there are four hostels currently on the college campus. single rooms, double rooms, and Triple sharing only in girls' hostels. some rooms are with ACs and some are with cooling ducts. Meal quality is average but I can say it is much better than as compared to other colleges and mess. The mess menu is decent as it is driven by the student council only. The hostel registration process is along with the admission process because it is compulsory for freshers to stay in the hostel. Location-wise the college is not in a good place as it is far away from the city and situated between two villages so it is not possible to rent a room or PG.

Admission

There is no separate entrance exam. You can take admission on basis of your JEE Mains result and there is also available through lateral entry. You can find application form on college website Application fees vary every year and details of it is given in the application form There are no reservation benefits is in this college. Cutoff also varies every year for the CSE branch it ends on 96.3 last year.

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.
