Honest IIM Sirmaur experience

The admission requires appearing for CAT and we get calls based on the percentiles. The selection process requires a personal interview. The application form for CAT is around 1800 INR and is released in the month of August.

The course curriuculum is hectic but ultimately rewarding. The first year of MBA gives you a general idea of all the fields so that you can get an idea of the field you want to major in. The in-house faculty is decent and the visiting faculty includes faculty from IIM Indore, SP Jain.

The internship opportunities include working with companies such as ICICI, HDFC, DCM Shriram, Latentview among other companies. The institute offers 100% placement for summer internships to its students.

The institute has been completing 100% placements regularly. Companies visiting the institute include ICICI, HDFC, E&Y, Deloitte, Daimler, DCM Shriram, among others. Their are international placements offered as well, especially for the T&HM course.

The fees for the 2022-24 batch is 13.75L for two years for core and for THM, it is 2 lac less. Scholarship is available category-wise for the students. The relevant information about scholarships is shared periodically by the authorities.

The institute works out of the temporary campus currently. The hostels are located nearby for the boys while the girls have their hostels within the campus only. The social life is pretty good, with regular interactions and celebrations.

The hostel facility is pretty decent, with all the junior boys living in the same hostel. The accomodation is pretty decent, with adequate Wifi facilites and other amenities. The rooms are pretty spacious and overall the experience is decent.
