Entrance Preview
I appeared for jee main and got 90 marks . I opted for this college because its ranked 4th in mumbai and i think its a good college for completing our b.tech.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure here is very good, everything is properly planned. Apart from our course,there are various seminars conducted not necessary that it is related to our field,so it is good for us to learn various things apart from our field.Tech events are cinducted where we can both learn and enjoy.So,course curriculum is very good.
Internships Opportunities
Yes,our college provides internship. We get mails from our college about various companies that are offering internship.I haven't done any internship yet, but i think that it will be useful for us as we can do internship through our college itself.
Placement Experience
For the year 2015-16 ,60 companies vistied our college and the number of job letters offere were 124 for electronics branch. They were offering from as low as 3 lakhs pa. to 6.5 lakhs pa.The companies came were L&T,infosys,force motors,microsoft,jp morgan,etc
College Events
We have abhiyantriki which is our techfest .It is a 2 day fest where various events are conducted . Various workshops,robo wars and many other activities are geld on those two days.We also have our cultural fest named symphony, Where we have dj night and many other programs to enjoy.It is a three day fest and we also have our sports festival called skream .
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees here is quite high i feel.Our fees for third year is 159756 which i think is quite high .For the first year it was around 135000 and for second year it was 170000. So i feel that an increase of 35000 is way too high.So , the fees should be in feasible range like around 100000 or near to it.!
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes ,college is been offering scholarship but i dont have any detailed information about it .But it is been offering some concession to those whose parents earn below certain amount.
Campus Life
Gender ratio here is quite good.We have our indoor and outdoor sports events. We have indoor events for odd sem and outdoor events for even sem.We have our robotics competition such as robo wars etc. We had freshers party which was very good. Students from various caste stydy here happily.
Hostel Facilities
I don't stay in hostel but as i have heard from my friends it is quite good here , The mess food is good , even the college students who don't stay in hostel can go there . The quality of food is good evan at a cheaper rate so instead of cabteen we can prefer tge mess food.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors here are supportive. Even they guide us . Even they tell us about how to study,from which book to study,etc.
Exam Structure
No,it isn't hectic at all. We have our practical or tutorial everyday for two hours . Even on Saturday and Sunday we have off,so we get a good time to study. Pracs everyday for three hours is good otherwise we would have lectures instead of it so it could have been very hectic or very stressful for us .So, Practical everyday for 2 hours is good.
Admission
There are forms available on college website,we can fill those and apply for the same.The admission cell are very helpful . If you have any doubt then you come to college or can even call and get it cleared.Availability of seats is also shown on college website,so accordingly you can take your decision.Everything is available on college websitelike what other documents you need ,etc.
Faculty
The faculty here is very helpful . Most of the faculty here has completed their masters or phd. Almost all the faculty here are like friends to the students. If we have any doubt regarding any topic about that subject then they show some interest in our doubt and they clear it, so we feel free to ask any doubt .
