Course Curriculum Overview

To Pursue B.tech Degree and I have chosen the CSE dept. Because it is my favourite department and it is not due to popularity it is my favourite since childhood There are a minimum of 50 faculty and 1200 students Each and every faculty has highly educated some faculty are from topmost iits and nits too like from iit kgp, nit rourkela, Jadavpur, IIEST Shibpur....etc. and they very good at teaching Every month there is an exam like internal 4 exams and end semester exams every 6 months

Course Fees: INR 550000 per year

They will offer you an hr post software engineer post And many other posts My experience in Techno India batanagar is very nice. I enjoyed two years of my college fully with my faculty members and seniors. I asked seniors to take which course they suggest IT branch according to my rank and they said there is a lot of scope in future. This college is good for CSE and it interests students.

Fees hike totally depends upon The techno india Group it is not under college accounts cell SVMCM, and student credit card and you have to apply for a job the college will definitely help you in this regard and the placement is centralized which is under the techno india group.

EQUINOX 2K23 AND PRAYAS 2K23 THERE IS EACH AND EVERY BOOK PRESENT IN THE LIBRARY AND THERE IS A DIGITAL LIBRARY SYSTEM TOO IN OUR COLLEGE WHICH IS CONTROLLED BY TCS EVERY DAY AT EVENING, THE FOOTBALL AND CRICKET MATCHES ARE PLAYED WITH EVERYONE THERE ARE CSI KOLKATA CHAPTER AND THE COLLEGE HAS ITS CRICKET TEAM

Hostel Facilities

You will get the room rented from 1500-2000 there are very good rooms in the locality so you can get it and for flooding each day expenditure us 110 rupees with good food and cleanliness in each and every place and the senior will arrange if you will contact them

Through WBJEE And JEE mains Yes there is a reservation benefit for General EWS, OBC And ST/SC it is only when a student will come through any entrance examination No, and everything is fine in the admission cell

It is very simple. They will ask few questions according to our seniors and the test pattern will totally depend upon companies to companies For b.tech you have to qualify for the wbjee I am well prepared for all these things and literally, I don't know if I will get into this college. But it is a very good college compared to other colleges In TI Group It will come under the 3-4th rank

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Eligibilty of the course is 60 percent in with maths in 12th and needed to sit and get a rank in wbjee .Admission process is too much sothing you have to just come in college with the required fees admission fees is approx 96,000 in first sem you can deposit it in 6 month in half half amout.And in next sem approx 85000 is needed per sem till 4 year.Admission process is easy they will cooperate with you.you can get the form in admission dpartment.Areas of improvement is mainly if fees isn't paid in 6 month then yo will not be allowed to sit in exams....Read More
