Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members of the mechanical department are good. The faculty: student ratio is average in the mechanical department. Most of the faculty are Ph.D. from IITs and they focus on learning. It is difficult to pass the term exams.

Internships Opportunities

There are not many opportunities for a summer internship in this but the companies that for summer internships are good enough and the role offered are SDE and trainees with a 30k-50k stipend. companies like BNY, Deloitte, and google.

Placement Experience

The student becomes eligible for campus placements in 3rd year 2nd semester. The companies visited are BYN, Deloitte, OYO, OLX, MakeMyTrip, Barclays Google, Tekion, Samsung, media.net, conde nation, Mittal, etc. The percentage of students who get placed is 98%. and the highest package is 30 lakh and the average is around 11 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a 10% hike in fees every year. and fees are above 2 lakhs where 1.5 lakhs are tuition fees and 50k is the hostel and mess charges. The scholarship is based on your academic performance and the average package is around 11 lakh, many know companies come to campus for placements like google, Oyo, olx, Barclays, BYN, MakeMyTrip, etc.

Campus Life

There are 3 fests, the cultural fest Vivacity, the sports fest Desportivos, and the tech fest Pinth. these fests start in the mid of January and are held over 3 weeks. The college has a good infrastructure and sports facilities and extracurricular activities but is located outside of the city so there are no clubs nearby.

Hostel Facilities

One bed, one study table with chair, internet connection, fan, light, table light, cupboard, and duct. The meal quality is better than other mess meals and has variety in it. on-campus registration for the hostel. There is no such locality for rent.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

Admission is based on the JEE MAINS score and 60% + percentage in the 12th class. The application form is available on the college site, and all other details are available there. There is no reservation.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students get eligible for placements which is from 7th semester onwards companies start visiting our college. The companies visited yet are:- Appperfect - it selected 6 students Securemeter Limited - it selected 12 students. Advaiya - it selected 7 students. There are many companies which will visit campus soon. Till now Appperfect has provided a package of 5.5 lpa. The average package is of 4 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is around 64. My plans are of higher studies.

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.

I applied to Thapar, IIIT Kota, IIIT Sonepat, IIIT Bhopal and BITS Pilani. Thapar has very large batch size so I did not chose it. IIIT Kota does not has a permanent campus so I rejected it, for IIIT Sonepat there has been a decrease in its value from previous decade so I rejected it. I applied for amrita vishwa vidyapeetam coimbatore, VIT vellore and Lnmiit. I didn't get any rejection from any college. I applied for Jaypee college noida , Manipal University except lnmiit . I got confirmed admission in Jaypee .
