Likes

Campus is nice ,clean and green. and has all the shops to buy basic stuff in campus.
Administration is slow but very cooperative and attentive regarding students and their issues
Good college culture between seniors and juniors and alumni

Dislikes

College is for from city , takes almost an hour to get to city , and if the bridge is which connects to city is sunk in during rain gong form a different route takes even longer.
Getting high grades is little difficult as compared to other collages.

Course Curriculum Overview

I Chose CSE as it has high-paying jobs and is a very rapidly growing field. The faculty-to-student ratio in the institute I guess is around 1 faculty for every 70 students. Faculty is highly qualified most being M.Sc and Ph.D. Faculty from other institutes are also invited as guest faculty.

Internships Opportunities

If you are good enough, decent opportunities for internships come whose stipend can range from Rs 30000 to all the way like Rs 150000 per month. But only a handful number of students get selected.

Placement Experience

Placements typically start in the final year of your degree and continue throughout the year. A decent number of companies visit. The highest packages go like 50+lakh. Placements stats are also available online on placements.lnmiit.ac.in.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are hiked by approximately 10% every year, you can assume a 12-15lakh for your 4yr btech degree. They are few scholarships available for students of families of low income and under the BPL line. there are some merit-based scholarships too for which you have to maintain a high CGPA like 9-9.5+. Teaching assistantships are also given if you are eligible.

Campus Life

Many cultural and technical groups are available to explore and have fun with their annual fest Plinth and Vivacity respectively. The campus is not that big but yes is decent in size and is beautiful with all the greenery. basic sports facilities like badminton, cricket, football, lawn tennis, table tennis, basketball, and kabaddi are available. Also, a decent enough gym is there too.

Admission

Admission to LNMIIT in UG Courses is done through JEE Mains. My percentile was 97.6 in 2020 and got CSE branch (4Yr) in the first round of counseling. Application forms and all other details are updated on their official website admissions.lnmiit.ac.in and lnmiit.ac.in. There are around 400 students in my batch.

My straightforward Review of my college life

Placement Experience:

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

the college provide good placement and internship opportunities and the average package stays around 12-13 lpa , almost 80% students get campus placement in good companies and the exams and eligibility process is very simple - just maintain the good cgpa with good commincation skills

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students get eligible for placements which is from 7th semester onwards companies start visiting our college. The companies visited yet are:- Appperfect - it selected 6 students Securemeter Limited - it selected 12 students. Advaiya - it selected 7 students. There are many companies which will visit campus soon. Till now Appperfect has provided a package of 5.5 lpa. The average package is of 4 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is around 64. My plans are of higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.

I applied to Thapar, IIIT Kota, IIIT Sonepat, IIIT Bhopal and BITS Pilani. Thapar has very large batch size so I did not chose it. IIIT Kota does not has a permanent campus so I rejected it, for IIIT Sonepat there has been a decrease in its value from previous decade so I rejected it. I got rejected from BITS Pilani due to low score in BITSAT. Admission process is good, only JEE Mains scores are considered and some Rajasthan Board toppers quota is there. I applied for amrita vishwa vidyapeetam coimbatore, VIT vellore and Lnmiit. I didn't get any rejection from any college. I applied for Jaypee college noida , Manipal University except lnmiit . I got confirmed admission in Jaypee . I chose lnmiit as it is ranked higher and also have a better reputation than those and is also tougher to get in . I didn't make it other colleges as my scores fell short .
