Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course was auto-allocated, based on preferences filled. Student prof. The ratio varies in different subjects from 1:30 to 1:500 Faculties are best in their field. There is an exam every 1.5 months. The curriculum is stressful but passable courses.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are many opportunities, a proper season is dedicated to intern hiring. Apart from that there are regular emails for opportunities in startups which are iit delhi based. Winter, summer and semester interns are available.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are provided by the college and mostly there are great companies hiring, all branches have decent opportunities. Almost 95% students get placed each year but the no. Is 70-80% this year. (2022-23) The highest package goes up to 1.5 crores. You can sit only once in your 7th sem, for placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Tuition fees and hostel fees are 112500 and 45000. Education loans, fees waiver, and many other scholarships including merit cum means are available. I availed education loan from sbi, they have a direct tie-up with iit.

Campus Life

4.5

Infra is really good, you can do everything you want. From best musical instruments to top-class sports facilities. There is a great sport and co-curricular culture. Technical clubs also test your practical knowledge. Asia's best college fests are conducted including RDV, Tryst, Vibhinn, Kaizen, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are 11 boys, 3 girls and two other hostels. Hostel fees per sem are 55000. But waivers are given to selected people. There is no need to avail room outside the campus. Food outlets are open 24/7 except from 5 AM to 9 AM.

Admission

I took admission in 2019, there were 2 attempts on jee main and 1 on advanced by then. You must be a 12th class or should have passed 12th 1 year ago. With at least, 75%. Female, SC/ST, OBC, EWS, PwD, Army, etc. Reservations are there. The admission process is already very changed in past few years, though in my opinion 2020's processes was best.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really good for a college like DTU, situated at close proximity to industry hubs like Noida and Gurgaon, Last Season the college placed about 70% of its students with an average of 14 lakhs. and highest of 82.5 lakhs. students from 5th semesters are eligible for Training and placement, with fifth semester getting placed for internships, while 7th semester kids, are eligible to sit for the FTE roles and etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but not best during 2022 to 2024 current year ,I don't know properly but my seniors said that it is due to recession and also it affects IIT BOMBAY. If Recession will go then it has also good placement opportunities if you are skilled. Because DTU provide all branches in tech company if you are skilled in coding. Approx 100+ companies had came in past years .

Remarks:

I choose computer Science because of my interest in the same. The amount of knowledge dissipated to u is the best thing and also having 2-3 practice lab periods really help you make ready for industry. The college can offer internships to their students which would be of great help. There are no. Of opportunities in terms of events technical and non technical that take place.

Remarks:

The only downside of my college is that the hostels doesn't have enough capacity so only 25% are able to get hostels, others have to live in flat/pgs or commute daily and its located in Rohini so most people have to travel a lot to come to the university. There's nothing good around the campus to go to, nearest attraction is nsp or south campus.
