Course Curriculum Overview

I choose computer Engineering because I already have an interest in it. The course curriculum for Computer Engineering Branch is according to the 2020 pattern. College Faculty of this college is well qualified (up to 87% of the faculty done PhD).

Thir is 120+ companies that visited the college for campus placement. Some of them are veritas, Capgemini, Deloitte, Infosys, Amazon, Accenture, TCS, etc. The highest package of college is 50Lakh per annum and the average is 4.5 Lakh per annum. The percentage of students placed is varied according to their branch, but in our Computer Engineering Branch, the placement percentage is up to 79 per cent.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of this college for the open category are 143000 for the open category, for OBC it is 83000, and for sc/St/NT/TFWS it is 2300. According to your category and marks, you got a specific scholarship scheme. In case you are unable to pay the college Fee, you can take an Education Loan also.

Campus Life

The campus of the college is not much big as compared to other colleges, but the garden, and football turf, are mind-blowing. The college conducts many hackathons like code vista, etc. Some non-technical events are also like recently as a fresher we celebrate a function name ' Novato Festa '. There are so many clubs in our college like Goggle Development Club(GDSC), Toastmasters, the Ethical hacking club, etc. The college also conducts some extra curricular activities like sports carnival.

Admission

At my time of admission, I do an exam named CET and I secured 90%in it. With these marks, I got admission to this college according to the merit list. The cutoff of this college in 2022 is 88% for Computer Engineering Branch. Cutoff may vary according to the caste system.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I first thought to join lpu and wrote plunest exam but after getting the review i cancelled the admission even after paying 10000 rs seat reservation fee . but basically my jee got blanked. i wrote cuet and comedk and mhtcet through which i got admission in pune . i comedk and cuet my marks were low but in councelling also i got low colleges. in my current college you can take admission of gh raisoni engineering college wagholi pune through mht cet and jee. You can apply for mhtcet councelling even if you didnt applied for mhtcet exam but you have to pay 1000 fee. but the admission is very long and it takes till sept. for admission completion . cutoff for civil was 72% in mhtcet. experiance was very hactic of councelling you have to updated every date during councelling....Read More

Life at GHRCEM - Limited fun, Strong foundation

I applied to a few colleges through the CAP rounds, including MIT, VIIT,VIIIT So many, but GHRCEM was themost suitable based on my CET marks as a open category. I chose this college because of its placement rate and infrastructure also good . The admission process was smooth and fully online via DTE maharashtra centralized system. I was eligilbe through the women category. The cut-off vary every year. I didnt get rejected elsewhere, but some top colleges chad higher cutoff. raisoni was a safe and good option. The admission process is simple. You can aplly here if you have given the state exam i.e MHTCET or JEE. After giving these exams, apply to the cap rounds.
