Course Curriculum Overview

My course is computer and communications, as I have a keen interest in coding and in electronic devices. The ratio of faculty and student ratio is 15:600. All teachers are holding Ph.D. and most of them are from IITs. Here once a weekly quiz is conducted which helps in brushing up on the course.

Internships Opportunities

The companies offer jobs in the third year of your 4-year course under 6 months internships. The project involved here is related to solving real-life problems in less time. The companies which come here are Amazon, Google, Tekion, Adobe, and YouTube.

Placement Experience

Out of 600 students,550 are holding placements at an annual package of 8 to 18 lakhs. The highest package is offered to an ECE student of 1.3 Crore.(on campus). and for off-campus it is 1.5 crore. The companies that come here are Amazon, Google, Tekio, Microsoft, Adobe, and YouTube.

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fees for a 4-year course are approximately 2200000. The scholarship is awarded to all 9+ CGP holders. The job offered here in 3 rd year of your course hires you for 6 months of internships. The company only hires 7+ CGP holders.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Vivacity held in the month of February every year. The tech fest is Plinth held in the month of January. The library here is amazing and provides books of all genres. The classroom is equipped with all basic facilities including a projector and ACs. Almost all different kinds of sports are played here like badminton, squash, table tennis, lawn tennis, cricket, and football.

Admission

The infrastructure, faculties and mess, and hostel facilities are up to the mark. plus the opportunities related to coding and in different sectors build you all over personality. The placements offered here are all above 1500000.

My straightforward Review of my college life

Placement Experience:

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students get eligible for placements which is from 7th semester onwards companies start visiting our college. The companies visited yet are:- Appperfect - it selected 6 students Securemeter Limited - it selected 12 students. Advaiya - it selected 7 students. There are many companies which will visit campus soon. Till now Appperfect has provided a package of 5.5 lpa. The average package is of 4 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is around 64. My plans are of higher studies.

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.

I applied to Thapar, IIIT Kota, IIIT Sonepat, IIIT Bhopal and BITS Pilani. Thapar has very large batch size so I did not chose it. IIIT Kota does not has a permanent campus so I rejected it, for IIIT Sonepat there has been a decrease in its value from previous decade so I rejected it. I got rejected from BITS Pilani due to low score in BITSAT. Admission process is good, only JEE Mains scores are considered and some Rajasthan Board toppers quota is there. I applied for amrita vishwa vidyapeetam coimbatore, VIT vellore and Lnmiit. I didn't get any rejection from any college. I applied for Jaypee college noida , Manipal University except lnmiit . I got confirmed admission in Jaypee . I chose lnmiit as it is ranked higher and also have a better reputation than those and is also tougher to get in . I didn't make it other colleges as my scores fell short .
