The Mess food is better compared to other colleges
The placements are quite decent as compared to other colleges offered at the same rank

Course Curriculum Overview

Not all the teachers are really good and in the end, you have studied by yourself for your exams on youtube or through class notes. In a semester there are exams held twice, a mid-term and an end term and CGPA is quite difficult to get relative to other colleges.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

The students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. The number of students placed is 461 and the number of offers is 550. The highest package is 1cr whereas the average package is 14.33Lakhs and the median package is 12.84Lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is 1.5 lakhs per semester and the hostel fee is 50000 and there is a 10% increment in the fees every year. However, there are scholarships for students below a financial condition if they have 8.5cgpa which is not easy to maintain

Campus Life

The cultural fest's name is Vivacity and the sports fest's name is Desportivis and the tech fest's name is Plinth. Plinth is held in January, Desportivis is held in January and Vivacity is held in February.

Hostel Facilities

A single room has an almirah, a bed, a table, a chair, a fan, 2 lights, a small one and a big one. A double room has 3 lights, 2 small ones and a big one, 2 tables, chairs, almirahs, a fan, and 2 beds. There are shared toilets.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

The admission was through JEE Mains exam and 97percentile was the cutoff for my year, however, the cutoff might have increased now. The application form was on the LNMIIT website and there were no reservation benefits for whosoever.

My straightforward Review of my college life

Placement Experience:

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Life at Manipal -More than just a college experience

Placement Experience:

the college provide good placement and internship opportunities and the average package stays around 12-13 lpa , almost 80% students get campus placement in good companies and the exams and eligibility process is very simple - just maintain the good cgpa with good commincation skills

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students get eligible for placements which is from 7th semester onwards companies start visiting our college. The companies visited yet are:- Appperfect - it selected 6 students Securemeter Limited - it selected 12 students. Advaiya - it selected 7 students. There are many companies which will visit campus soon. Till now Appperfect has provided a package of 5.5 lpa. The average package is of 4 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is around 64. My plans are of higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.

I applied to Thapar, IIIT Kota, IIIT Sonepat, IIIT Bhopal and BITS Pilani. Thapar has very large batch size so I did not chose it. IIIT Kota does not has a permanent campus so I rejected it, for IIIT Sonepat there has been a decrease in its value from previous decade so I rejected it. I got rejected from BITS Pilani due to low score in BITSAT. Admission process is good, only JEE Mains scores are considered and some Rajasthan Board toppers quota is there. I applied for amrita vishwa vidyapeetam coimbatore, VIT vellore and Lnmiit. I didn't get any rejection from any college. I applied for Jaypee college noida , Manipal University except lnmiit . I got confirmed admission in Jaypee . I chose lnmiit as it is ranked higher and also have a better reputation than those and is also tougher to get in . I didn't make it other colleges as my scores fell short .
