Honest feedback of my 3 years at :LNMIIT, Jaipur.

The course curriculum is bery similar to IITs. Faculty student ratio could be better. Faculty is qualified in terms of knowledge but I believe teaching methods depend from teacher to teacher and some classes are good and some are a waste of time depending upon the teaching method. Every semester has mid sem and ends sem exams and several quizzes along the way and all are evaluated for grading. Getting a good CGPA is very tough here as teachers are strict in giving marks.

The intership opportunaties are very less in this college. Only a handful of companies come for hiring interns here and a very few students are able to grab a summer internship on campus. They can always try off-campus. However, the institute soed provide LUSIP, an intership programme offered by the institute itself for students which students can enroll in easily.

Placement opportunities are fairly good with a good Training and Placement cell. In this college, your placement depends on tour coding skills. So work hard on that, you are safe with a good package.

10% fee hike every year. You get a merit scholarship if your CGPA is above 9.25, 9.5, or 9.75. But the reality is hardly anyone is able to reach that level here so merit scholarship is only used by students in 1st year if they maintain exceptional grades. After that, rarely anyone gets it. There are other scholarships for various categories like BPL, loss of Bread earners in the family, etc.

Life on the campus is pretty chill. You have ample freedom. The crowd here is nice, and everyone is grounded and friendly. You will have a memorable social life here. The classrooms and labs are decent. The infrastructure is beautiful. Jaipur is an amazing city with lots and lots of things, activities, and food, but the campus is 20km away from the city. 2 buses go from the college to the city but are always overcrowded, so you must come much in advance to get a seat. The sports on the campus include cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, Lawn Tennis court, Badminton court, Squash court, Kabbadi ground, and Lawn Tennis. There is a Gym, but its quality is not that great. There are many cultural and technical clubs in this college, entirely run and managed by students. Being part of them is always fun and you learn things and manage things and make friends along the way.

Hostels are decent with spacious rooms and even ACs in one hostel but the quality is dropping because of overpopulation. They are intaking more and more students each year which is a huge drawback. For the new batch, they even asked 3 people to stay in double room and it was very conjusted. Building of new hostels is always being postponed. The mess and food is decent, mostly atleast. Yes, sometimes you would wanna skip mess, it can be bad also.

Admissions are based on JEE mains score. You need around 95 percentile or more for admission and 97 or more for the CSE branch. The application form can be filled out from the institute website - www.lnmiit.ac.in. There is no reservation whatsoever.
