Course Curriculum Overview

I liked the course and wanted to pursue a career in this ahead. The faculty and students ratio is a bit off but you get decent attention if you want to. Teachers are very well qualified and teach as standard teachers in any institute. Exams are periodically taken and are moderately difficult to get very good grades.

Internships Opportunities

There are only some internship opportunities available here which you get in 2nd and 3rd years. Overall it's good if you are fighter enough. Projects have good outcomes which are compulsory in 3rd year of your four-year course.

Placement Experience

After 3rd year you are eligible for placements. Almost all FAANGM companies and other big MNCs visit the campus every year and 99% of students are through campus placements. The highest package is 1cr last year and the average is 14lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here is the same fee hike policy as any other institute and the cost to study is pretty high but it's worth it looking at the placements. There are no direct scholarships but you get some remittances if you score very CGPA.

Campus Life

There are three fests conducted on our campus every year namely- Vivacity- The cult fest Plinth- The tech fest Desportivos- sports fest Library has a large collection of books and you'll mostly get what you search for. The collection is updated frequently. Sports are available and clubs are active and one will get an ample amount of co-curricular activities to work with.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are decent in the hostel, you get basics like a bed, study table and chair, lights, and fans, and there is ducting in rooms for summers. Mess food is okayish and edible but doesn't expect too much taste. Registration for a hostel is done with academic registrations. I haven't rented any room or PG.

Hostel Fee: INR 50600 per year

Admission

You must be the 12th pass in order to apply to the colleges and be given an attempt of jee mains where the minimum criteria are kept at the 90 percentile. Application forms and all updates could be found on the college website. There is absolutely no reservation criterion. Improvement must be in their system of communication.

My straightforward Review of my college life

Placement Experience:

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

the college provide good placement and internship opportunities and the average package stays around 12-13 lpa , almost 80% students get campus placement in good companies and the exams and eligibility process is very simple - just maintain the good cgpa with good commincation skills

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students get eligible for placements which is from 7th semester onwards companies start visiting our college. The companies visited yet are:- Appperfect - it selected 6 students Securemeter Limited - it selected 12 students. Advaiya - it selected 7 students. There are many companies which will visit campus soon. Till now Appperfect has provided a package of 5.5 lpa. The average package is of 4 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is around 64. My plans are of higher studies.

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.

I applied to Thapar, IIIT Kota, IIIT Sonepat, IIIT Bhopal and BITS Pilani. Thapar has very large batch size so I did not chose it. IIIT Kota does not has a permanent campus so I rejected it, for IIIT Sonepat there has been a decrease in its value from previous decade so I rejected it. I got rejected from BITS Pilani due to low score in BITSAT. Admission process is good, only JEE Mains scores are considered and some Rajasthan Board toppers quota is there. I applied for amrita vishwa vidyapeetam coimbatore, VIT vellore and Lnmiit. I didn't get any rejection from any college. I applied for Jaypee college noida , Manipal University except lnmiit . I got confirmed admission in Jaypee . I chose lnmiit as it is ranked higher and also have a better reputation than those and is also tougher to get in . I didn't make it other colleges as my scores fell short .
