- Classrooms are well built and provide adequate amenities.
- Infrastructure of the newly built block C is great.
- Library offers a wide range of books which you can refer to for free.
Dislikes
- The campus area is very small. There are not much places to hang out other than the main grounds.
- The examination dates are not fixed. Completion of syllabus before exams becomes a tedious task.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 15 teachers in VSE faculty, out of which 6 teachers are assigned to 2 classes of Sem 1. The classes are well conducted, with detailed assignments, notes and presentations. The examinations were not conducted on time due to late admissions, which resulted in less time for preparation both by teachers and students. The first semester exams were very tough and difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
One of the many internship opportunities provided by college was: Company - Neophyte Consulting Services Position: Business Development Intern Department - Admissions The responsibilities included: 1. Working on lead generation through cold calling. 2. Call leads, send emails, follow up, and convert them into sales. 3. Maintaining the database of the customer. 4. Counselling potential students/parents to enroll in the programs offered. Stipend and Other Benefits: 1. Rs.7,000 Per Month (Performance based) 2. Offer Letter, Letter of Experience and Recommendation. 3. Pre-Placement Offer Duration - 2 Months Location- Work from Home (Full time) Similar internship opportunities were also provided under companies such as fundsroom, exposys data labs and acremegade.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am still a student of 1st year, so haven't been exposed to fee hike as of yet. The placement cell in the college constantly provides with internship opportunities in collab with different conpanies such as fundsroom, neophyte consulting services and exposys data labs which offer stipend upto 5k.
Campus Life
The college provides a bunch of opportunities. Annual fests such as initio'22 were conducted by bba department around the month of November. The classroom has proper lighting, projector, whiteboard, benches, chairs and podium for teachers. The college offers various sports including football, basketball, badminton, cricket etc. and extracurricular competitions from singing, paper presentation to photography and much more from time to time.
Admission
For a candidate to be eligible to this course, he must have passed 10+2 with maths and english and secured atleast 50% marks in the aggregate of best 4 subjects including english. The application form , fees details and application dates can be found on vips.edu/admission-information/
